- In this episode of Frankens'Teen, Victor attemps to explain a boardgame.
It goes about as well as you'd expect.
The audio from this clip comes from the Australian sketch comedy group Aunty Donna and holy crap, in terms of humour, these cheeky boys are right up my alley. This probably won't be the last time you see me use one of their sketches - please, go check them out.
(Also, I've got the roughs done for another Frankens'Teen episode, but ohhh boy ... the next one is gonna be kick in the feels. Get ready for more Bojack, hehe)

"you're difficult to be around" that's it that's the entire book
Pretty much lol
My favorite part is that the Creature collecting wood checks out canonically
IT DOES! I was halfway through animating the clip and I was like ... wait a minute. This actually fits SUPRISINGLY well for the character, haha!
It all makes sense.
Victor: *attempting to "human" with his roommates*
Henry and Creature: *mass confusion but going with it any way*
They are trying very hard.
So very hard.
*traumatic flashbacks to failed D&D sessions with family*
It reminds me of Settlers of Catan
yay a new episode of "Victor being more trouble than the actual creature made up of corpses and Henry just trying" is out!
"Victor explains boardgames" should be an entire spin-off series
“tHEN WHY HAVE I BEEN COLLECTING WOOD”
that quote alone sums up the creature’s tale _really_ well
“You’re difficult to be around.” Made me laugh out loud. Yep, basically Victor Frankenstein in a nutshell.
Henry: *pulling out the sword again* "should I stab myself, or should I stab them?"
Can I just say that Victor calling Creature 'big boy' is so sweet and wholesome?
Yes. Yes you can.
"You're difficult to be around."
Someone had to tell Victor this eventually
This is fantastic. Well done. The part when Henry and Adam/Creech just...look at each other while Victor's talking, that was perfection
I can’t play a board game unless I’ve read the instruction booklet myself and understand all the rules. This is what it feels like when someone tries to ‘explain it as we go.’
I feel you, Creature.
Right after I wrote this comment my mom pulled out a new very complicated board game based on fighting monsters which had ‘Frankenstein’s monster’ in it so that’s an interesting coincidence
This makes Monopoly look like childsplay
Henry and Creature are trying to so hard to play along with Victor
I feel like this entire game is just the Creature’s internal thought process, all day, every day.
The sad part is, Victor is explaining the game better than I could! XD
Also hi Vvarx!
All I can hear while watching this video now is your voice softly whispering in the voice chat: ''these are ~p o t a t o t o k e n s~''
Gosh, your editing goes perfectly with the humor of the original video, this is perfect 8')
Really taking a spin with that "Victor" irony you mentioned in the Q n A, huh?
Also gotta love how Victor and Creature bond(?) over a bs game, and then Henry in the back, who WON the bs game, is just c o n f u s e d .
I love how they're going again.
Clicked as soon as I saw! I love this series 🥺🥺
This made my entire night, thank you so much!
The longer it goes, the more rules he makes up 💀
#familygamenight
This is how I feel when I try to play settlers of catan
Same. Like, I know my friend group loves that game to bits and as a maker I'd make any of them custom tiles if I needed to give them a nice gift, but I'm banished to the ninth circle of boredom as soon as I try to participate.
Literally the exact same thought I had
Once again I ask the question:
Why isn't this in theaters?
This sounds like my brother about his games
omg i love aunty donna so this crossover makes me so happy
I'm finding out about this amazing series and just noticed this was 6 days old so I have hope seeing others like that in the future :D
This is my favorite
...I still have no idea how to play that game, I'm pretty sure Victor's just making it up as he goes, but at least they're having a good time?
Now I'm wondering who plays D&D and what character Creature would make for it.
Halfling artificer. He gets to make things and be small!
Ooh, someone asked me this on Insta a while back!
So, Henry, theater/improv nerd that he is, is a big DnD fan and a very good DM. Justine also plays.
Liz has tried, but it's not really her thing, and Victor just ... doesn't understand the roleplaying aspect.
I feel like Creature would warm up to it though, especially if Henry is DMing!
@@vvarx Oooh, now I'm also curious as to what character Creature would make.
He could make one that's the complete opposite of himself or "make himself" in D&D.
There's a race that's basically Creature without the reanimated-from-the-dead part. They're called Goliaths, and are pale, have long black hair, are 8ft tall, cold resistant, and super strong and agile. They live in the mountains and in the arctic wastes. As for class, I guess Creature could be a Ranger. I think it's the most appropriate. It suits him well.
@@miab-p6874 That actually does suit him really well!
@@wandanemer2630 Thanks! I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees it. 💙
Just noticed the "Milton" t-shirt the creature is wearing. I love your attention to detail, Vvarx!
NOOOOOOOOOO I'M LATE-
Well, I don't have anything clever to say today, but this is top-notch as always!! ❤️
I find it hilarious that the Creature makes more sense 90% than the legal adult
THE MILTON SHIRT oml
of course victor would know how to play this game-
I love this
Yes yes, very good, very good :}
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Just wait till Victor tries to explain modern Yugioh.
Second but still important bitchesssssssssss
