Another thing to note is that Kamloops is far more spread out than Vernon. Things in Vernon are usually pretty close, but Kamloops you have to commute almost anywhere.

I've lived in both and I say there is no comparison. Kamloops is a real community with heart while Vernon is like a smaller Kelowna but with Kelowna envy and a lot of snobberyfor being in the Okanagan. Asforhospitals,I've been treatedin both and again,I would opt for the larger medical facility in Kelowna.
Interesting! I’ve never noticed Vernon wanting to be Kelowna, in fact I think most are very happy not to be. However I appreciate your opinion.

Hi Greg - seems like activity is picking up and prices are remaining flat at this time in the Okanagan.
@@Saltfowler but it's safe to say qctivity always picks up at this time of year. I suspect less then last year but still up from winter months.

@@Saltfowler Honestly I moved away a couple of years ago because I lived downtown and the transients were switching from the friendly 'schizo' types you want to give 5 bucks to and listen to a mini rant about how shapeshifting lizardmen are living among us to more dangerous 'opioid addict' types who break into properties and homes and who look like they want to stab you.
I have only been back twice so I haven't actually noticed a difference, and anyone reading this should take my opinion as that, my opinion.
