      You should not use turntable with 7 or 14 lines, you need to move it back and forth to accumulate proper the points , it ii recommended use Full Field with turntable for fast capture of a small objects , with markers or not , secure laser scanning for simple objects without much features . Remember markers keep the object metrology at its best precision , and that what is about

    • @CA-gc8me
      @CA-gc8me День назад

      @@PUTV3D Well anything below 20cm seems to be working great on turntable + bunch of 3d printed plastic stands for markers.
      That is why I want to know if I should cancel my pledge as my Raptor works fine without any markers on the objects. Precision is great, cannot complaint (I work with 3d printing so anything below 0.1mm is not a problem).

      @@CA-gc8me with Laser lines ? You're gonna have hot spots . You use a turntable with 64 lines Structured Light and nothing else . On top Auto Turntable mode is reserved only for 64 Lines Full Field for the same reason . As I said before this video was reserved strictly for show off Laser modes as requested by backers but maybe in the next video they show the rest as well and probably very soon . I will let the team know you would like to see it next 😃👍🏼

    • @Revopoint3D
      @Revopoint3D  День назад

      Hello, this mainly depends on the object you're scanning. If the object lacks distinct features, marker points are required regardless of the mode you use.
      Additionally, marker points are essential in laser mode, as the scanner relies on them to capture the object's information accurately.

      @@paranoidpanzerpenguin5262 it’s not horrible, but the surface seems to have a lot of noise, markers holes are sometimes filled strangely,…
      That said for the price might still be interesting. Apparently the software doesn’t support gpu yet, maybe why it’s slower.

      Laser need markers to scan objects , it is not structured light , it ensure stability while scanning and greater volume precision . Full Field is faster but it require object features or markers , however Structured Light technology is different so you should choice the best mode for your needs . And regarding slow , it is what Laser do collects points and not full frames , Structured light capture 7 millions point per sec, Laser 10% of that and that is normal , however the speed will increase a lot more in the future for the Laser mode
