I see you are scanning ONLY from above, while using a ton of markers. Looks like you don't want to ran into an error about insufficient number of markers visible.... People will be facing this since day 1 of using, and you are trying to pretend that problem does not exist. Just do a REAL LIFE test with honesty, huh?

I wish there was an unedited version of the livestream available. They removed/time-lapsed through so much it doesn't give you a good idea of the work flow and any issues they ran into. Not confidence inspiring.

Hello, thanks for the video. I have two questions: 1- What benefits brings doing a global marker tracker scan first? does it brings more dimesional accuracy to the scan data? and 2- Why would someone export/import global marker scan , in what scenarios, because those markers are not supposed to be in the piece that would be scan forever?

Why is it so slooooow??? On my raptor with 4090 I can scan very quickly objects of that size without any markers. Show how MetroX compares to Raptor WITHOUT markers with just markers on a scanning mat / 3d markers. I cannot decide if I should keep my pledge

How do scan under the object

Will i need to use markers even on a feature rich part like the engine case shown at 4:30 / 7:30 minute mark? I thought it would pick up and track with all that detail, or am i wrong?

Since you are using so many stick-on markers on the engine parts, does the software remove them from the scan automatically or is it a manual process?

They got rid of the dialog of them saying the software isn’t ready and the issues they were having while scanning

I hoped this would cover PC requirements. If the software would run on my Windows 11 Pro Lenovo P53 i7-9750 workstation, I'd be tempted to order. But from what I've seen on the Kickstarter page, it looks like it won't.

Please never let whomever edited this near a video again. The dialog is almost all gone so we have no context of what the hell they’re doing, we get to watch long loading screens, the music makes me regret having ears, and you didn’t actually demo 3d scans of objects (more like 2.5d top down shots) until the end where the turntable system doesn’t work. This is either a truly awful demo cut, or this product just isn’t ready to be sold.

Could you tell me why you are not zooming on the edges? the only thing left to make sure is that. unlike its predecessor, it should be able to capture sharp edges because from a user point of view that matters a lot more......🤔 as per the price, it's still looking good.

I am excited to get the scanner. I have the Creality raptor and Shining3D pro 2 . This will hopefully replace those.

I have the original Range, which good for medium to large objects. I seeing that the specs of Range 2 lists a large distance and single capture than the original which is no surprise. The surprise is the the the minimum scan size is 50/50/50 MM. The original scan scan a minimum size of 70/70/70 MM. I scan people as well as mid size objects.

Love it. Would it be possible to add handles to transform a selection in xyz, that would save some of my scans 😉
