You read my entire mind. I always thought that a movie soundtrack like Sicario played over the entire Final Battle of D.C. sequence would be enough. It would be perfect in atmosphere, I agree with the director's choice of not having a soundtrack, but that is why they opened a path to many possibilities. and you have chosen the perfect one. Congratulations.
@@devilspectre0140 Yes, me too! I thought the finale worked brilliantly as it was. The lack of music really added to the realistic/documentary feel, I just couldn’t help but experiment with Sicario. I’m glad you liked it and hope you also enjoy the other scenes I’ve worked on. Thanks for your kind words!
I really enjoyed this movie. Loved the sound design too. I just wish we could have heard that attack on the Lincoln Memorial. After watching the trailer and hearing that explosion, I REALLY wanted to hear that in Final Cut, especially in surround sound.
I have to imagine those have been up for the duration of the war. The moment there was an inkling of civil unrest in the capital, those walls were laid, maybe even before since the movie seemed to hint at the president's unconstitutional and, by extension, tyrannical actions.
I can tell you this: Those helicopters in the beginning wouldn't make a single inch that close to that area because of how high the security is in DC They made it look like it didn't have security at all
Before the invasion of D.C the reports were talking saying all the higher ups were surrounding all that were left were a full of die hard soldiers that's about it
Only a gullible, sore loser, would say that, even ironically. It's a sad projection that truly weak men make. In order to hide their mistakes, such men, would prefer to burn the whole place down, rather than admit that they were wrong! Be careful what you wish for. Slava Ukraine! God Bless NATO. Slava Heroyam!
Common movie trope. Swat. American Sniper. Marvel movies. The good guys never had headwear or anything obscuring their faces in the final confrontation.
If you watched the movie before the invasion the higher ups and everyone else in D.C surrendered other than the president a few of his staff and few soldiers
That's because it is not an action flick, its a drama. There is nothing glorious about war, particularly civil war. There's nothing civil about it. What was the point of the movie? It's not what you think.
This movie had one of the most awful soundtracks and sound editing for a big budget movie that I ever heard... Terribly timed songs that killed the mood ... Really awful movie overall

that unrealistic chain gun of the apache
Thats where i stop watching and start to find comment like this.
Yee it’s painful to hear also why is firing hellfires at such range when he’s got hydra pods. Still it’s just a movie it’s still pretty cool
that's what happened if they don't consult a real military pilot for the movie.
@@johndavidfernandez5037 they only need to search apache video on youtube. Thats what makes me angry.
that wasn't a chaingun, that was plasma
reminded me of the Hue city section of Full Metal Jacket. nice choices of music.
I never seen a C-RAM in the background in any movie other than this
Wonder how fast they set up those walls around the White House, or were they already built for a while

In the film they mention that many US soldiers deserted and only a few stayed, so the defense of the capital was very vulnerable.

This is going to happen for real soon...

CALL OF DUTY CIVIL WAR
They have to made it eventually.
can you leave all this scene almost the same and change the wrong apache gun sound? XD
Weeeee!

That was a wasted Carl Gustav shot
That was an FGM-148 Javelin.

why western force attaks washington..
No way can any armed forces in the world including the factions of US military can storm white house so easily

I dont know why man but the action scenes are so underwhelming.
cos it's not over the top enough, nor is it realistic enough. just silly stuff like a helicopter gunship hovering 20 feet away from its target.

because it's not a pro-war film.
