*Please let me know if this video appeared in your feed!!* This is a re-edit and re-upload because the previous version wasn’t shared by RUclips. Unfortunately I have also included new content to make this just a bit more interesting!
Finally, these sorts of videos why I started following you, that would be great to see this kind of easygoing ones instead of deep philosophical stuff. ❤😊
My Mighty MKII is my go to home amp since My Egnater blew up, would be cool if they built mini extension cabs for extra volume ,tone and stereo effects though. also bluetooth footswitch for pedal chain would be cool , and maybe like a mini sd card reader to save tone stacks physically , abilityy to turn off bluetooth to stop interference would be cool too.
@@RobChappers it is beautiful Rob! I live on a cruise ship these days but I was in Hangzhou for a good few years.. Marco Polo wrote that it was heaven on earth, and he wasn’t wrong.. cheers
Excellent. NUX have really won me over as I use a Stageman floor for all my acoustic gigs (a lot over the last few years) and it’s never let me down. I also use an MG30 on all my recordings and now sometimes live when I play electric. Their Od pedals are excellent too. It’s all good quality stuff that a working (albeit small venues) solo musician like me can afford .
At their HQ I found some of their really old school pedals, they look so awesome - by the way everything I’m playing through it’s literally just Trident, sounds awesome loud through a PA
@@GraemeCampbellMusic I made a patch for it and it’s pretty much all I use. I just roll back on the volume or add the boost and it gives me everything.
NUX is one of my favourite brands, really cool to see them backing you (I think its super cool how all (or most) brands are really using and seeing the youtube and creator/influencer world as a legit outlet for their sponsorship - funnily enough chapman guitars do that!). The NUX mightly lite 2 (and pretty much all their practice range) are fantastic little amps - I know you adore the Katana, I really think you'll be all over the little amps, they arent quite as versatile as the Katana in size/volume/output - but for at home use - perfect (fun trick which I think you'll like, I use my Mighty Lite 2 as a mini FRFR speaker at home with my bigger "better" modeller - I turn off all the effects/units on the mighty lite, and just use it for the speaker - its a shockingly good monitor / mini frfr). NUX Horseman and Lacerate are two of my top overdrive pedals - sure the they are copies (what isnt these days) - but the double features and build and sound quality on them is just silly, punch well above their price tag.
Popped up for me, great video. Eager to see more of your NUX content. Please do a video on the Amp Academy, maybe compare it to your Atomic? I don't feel Lee and Pete gave it a fair shot comparing it to the Iridium and barely getting into the settings. I need help with the high gain models.
Hey Rob, I really enjoyed the video, looks like you and Russ had an amazing time! What a convention! I didn't see this in my feed but your Dad shared on fb so saw it there anyway. Hope all is good with you.
@@RobChappers It must be in line with your music style, otherwise it is just a pedal with your name on it. So a cruch or high-gain distortion pedal? B.t.w. have fun with NUX. I remember the old NUX videos, realy showing that they are doing what they like.
Totally Rad! i love Disinfection Robot , Saw him open for Devin Townsend and Buckethead at the Shanghai Ultramega Super BIOSdome back in 2014 , me and the fiance had front row seats and D.R. was melting faces spttin lasers and firing on all circuits that night! cant believe you just casually passed him at 0:26 , what a wicked random encounter! and am ii crazy or is that Jimmy Page's Asian cousin at 2:38 ?
Mr Chapman please try to get New X to update the Mighty Space modulation effect called Mono Octave the octaves are horribly out of tune. I’ve tried via emails and the developer says it’s a very limited effect. It would be great if you could test it yourself on the Mighty Space amp. Other wise it’s a great little unit. Thanks for your videos. I’ve seen most of them. Started with Andertons back in the day.
@@RobChappers ah sorry, I remember the name from Amazon branded stuff. I presumed they were an Amazon owned company. Seems they made “Amazon Basics” branded pedals for Amazon for a while. I thought they dropped the “Amazon Basics” brand on the products but it’s still an Amazon brand.
Wow I can’t believe that everything I have was absolutely incredible although I suppose if you don’t like Chinese food you’re definitely in for a bad time LOL

It did indeed show up in my feed! I was a little confused at first, because I expected it to be the next installment. What was it that you had to cut?
Yes, thank you. It popped up in my notifications. Thank you for sharing,
Yes it did. All fine Rob
Greats from the Danish/German border 👋
I got to see the earlier version as well.
Got it both times. Second one marginally longer maybe.
Your dad seems like a really cool guy. Awesome you had a great time out with your pops.
People that don’t play music are missing out. I’m a terrible guitar player but man do I love trying ❤

Hi Rob! I can't think on no one better than you to represent NUX and their amazing products. So I wish you all the best on this new journey. Congrats!
What a lovely comment, thank you so much for the support :-)
Great Vid Rob. The wonders of YT showing the world’s love for our favourite instrument ( & food ). Makes NAMM look like a flea market :)
NuX actually makes some great stuff for the money. Slept on for sure
Absolutely correct, I was privy to a few of the new products they are working on and there’s some very exciting stuff coming
This is so cool. I'm so happy for you. Congratulations Rob!!
It popped up in my notifications. Thank you for sharing dude loving the nu-x gear i have the "stage man" and the "amp academy" both great pedals !!!
As usual a great watch, I’ll have to put some research into some more places I’ve been needing to visit! Sounded as great as always Rob!
A pleasure to see you having so much fun 😎🎸
Love the Nu X! Trident, MG30, Air, 8, Loop Core, Delay,Reverb, Plug, heavily invested! ❤
Beautiful city and amazing show. Thanks for showing us and for your upbeat, positive and good vibes video.

Great footage.. Shanghai has an amazing music scene, I lived there for 10 years, miss it very much…

Looks like you had a good time. I watched the version you posted yesterday, but I wanted to watch it again because of how much fun you were having.
Thank you so much, Dude. I really appreciate that :-)
I saw the original and now I'm getting Deja Vu. Now THAT's a difficult cover to play - Malmsteens Deja Vu. The riff alone will dissolve your fingers.
+1 on that
That is absolutely insane how massive that show is.

Thank you for sharing this. Just beautiful!
Absolutely love nux plexi crunch pedal i have.
It’s awesome, if you haven’t already tried blending it with an EQ and other drive pedals to get that unique Preamp tone

"Nice guitar!"
"Hi, Wade!"
Epic stuff thanks for letting us in!! Looks awesome!!
You are more than welcome, Indiana - absolutely loads more to come! Especially from my visit to the NUX headquarters

Hey bro thanks man, hope you are doing great!
Great vid rob
Proud owner of a NUX mini amp.
what is that blue 5 stringed bass the gentleman is holding up at 1:03?
one of your models?
I saw the previous upload, and now this one
Does that mean you gonna do all NU-X amp range with Lee? Please include bass one also ;)
That would be up to Lee ❤
@@RobChappers drop some hints :D
the chinese namm looks so fun!!
NUX is the new BOSS.
I agree
probably have the same resale depreciation as a chinese EV - no thanks 😅
Yeah, all good, saw both the original and the re-upload 👍
That’s great thanks man!
No worries. Hope the collab works out well for you. That was quite a show!
0:45 - The one-person concert. 😆 Privileged!
looks like it went down like zero covid to their ears 😂 next time try a winnie the p. impersonation to drum up a mosh pit
Now I am expecting a signature pedal from Rob and NUX.
If I did then I would involve everyone, it’s in my nature, what would you like us to make?

Awesome tone on that stage !! What was your setup ?
Literally just the NUX Trident!

So NUX is Amazon’s pedal brand?
No not at all

I tend not to worry about anything!

4:15 - 4:17 who is that girl? Do you have her IG? 😍
That’s the awesome Michelle from NUX
4:42 - No kids for them, maybe!
1:32 - Why is that Chinese 2014 Rob Chapman?... Long straight hair, shorts, same laugh.
It's not "nucks"? Damn. I was gonna make some "Deez Nux" jokes
Make the joke, no one will know 😂
Don't get Shanghaied 🤔
China my favorite country.....My wife...favorite wife 😉....she is Chinese....Wo ai ni, Zhongguo.
