In the news recently there is discussion about how children are missing out on conversation. After watching this video I realised as a mother of four young children I have also been missing out on conversation. There are people whom are isolated whom are gaining immensely from your videos.
My husband got up this morning (we are in Australia) and said gee you look happy and I put the video on for him!
You did include photos from different times of the year showing the beautiful flowers and garden.
But please continue this series!

What a legend Chris is. We have 2 cats but they only go out on a lead with us so they can't end up getting killed on the road or hurt any wildlife. We have created a wildlife garden and deliberately left area's of scrubland

I’m all over the place as a gardener. Just strive to get enough! 😂 I’d love someone to either tidy it up or guide me to help it grow more natural in areas. I’m somewhat a sucker of plant collector, but do attempt of finding the right spot for the plant- often forgoing any particular design.
Woodland but quite full spectrum of options actually.
What I treasure here is, that amidst my neighbors low maintenance (with the exception of their mowing) are the woodland sounds. I’ve often noticed the difference in the sound of what I call city birds over the sounds here. Loved that he also has noticed this.

Thank you, Bunny for this interview. I’m just looking at what are the ways we need to educate people about how what they do in their little garden, does have an effect on wildlife and the planet.Hearing from jus one professional landscaper who has changed his life view and now is changing so many people across the world gives me hope.
Queens park in Crewe has a lot of squirrels , they're a feature of the park , as people hand feed peanuts in the shells to them. I imagine they keep out of the way during a park run . But i can assure you there are hundreds of squirrels in Crewe. I know this as i walk a sighthound around the park :)

I am surprised Chris Baines has never seen a Purple Emperor! I’m in the south, Surrey. Purple Emperor butterflies favour Goat Willow - their food source - we have four or five of these trees surrounding our house - a Purple Emperor appeared in our kitchen last year.
I absolutely agree with him concerning cat ownership. Cat owners couldn’t care less what birds or small mammals their cats kill - out of sight out of mind is their mentality. If you say their cats are killing birds etc., they get all indignant and affronted.
We could use a paradigm shift: Wild is the ideal over manicured.

Hello Bunny, I’ve loved the whole series but this was one of my favourites because both you and Chris showed so much common sense about the balance of gardening and wildlife. Not for the first time I now want a pond. As leaks seem to be the main fear, would a one-off rigid pool liner type thing be a good idea? PS:Velvetiser also a massive hit!
Great video but I don’t believe all garden fertilisers are bad. I mostly use liquid seaweed . If you have containers you are going to need to replenish the nutrients with some kind of fertiliser annually surely. Its not the same as what’s going on with industrial farming fertilisers and pesticides, that is on a totally different level , and is doing major harm. That said I think we need to be as ethical as possible about what we use in our gardens . Personally i have stopped using weed killer and lift all weeds manually or hoe them out. Encouraging wildlife into all our gardens should be a priority even if we aren’t going the whole hog to make this kind of total wild life garden!😊
That is indeed a basic title.
Bunny I think the new videos are interesting but we do not have to watch you and the guest sitting and so we see almost nothing in or about the garden. You can speak while someone walks around and take images from the garden. Otherwise to show us photos … is not so great.
I actually find it quite peaceful to hear about their motivation and thoughts without being distracted by walking about... the pictures you see inbetween take care of the "looking at stuff" part:).

It will be a long time before people stop using poisons on their yards. It is a shame too. They could save some money by not spraying. Reminds me I need to put out my "Please No Spraying" signs.
