- Competition is a giant part of the Twitch experience. But a couple weeks ago, Twitch’s biggest competitive spectacle wasn’t between esports elites fighting over a huge prize pool.
It was between a boomer and a night owl with a consistently inconsistent schedule, duking it out in a game overflowing with nostalgia.
MOONMOON, Clint Stevens, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.

There are tons of people who are way better than either of them at THPs, so that wasn't really noteworthy. In fact they were both already well aware that devs and/or top players were going to get way higher scores than them, it was more of a personal competition.

@@joshuanavarrete1891 boomer is more seen as a mindset and way of life now. A 10 year old can be considered a boomer if they read the newspaper in the morning hah. It's not really a "replacement" for the actual definition, they're just now two words that separately exist and mean different things.

I played a lot of Tony Hawks 1 & 2, and I have to say I love the remasters. They're amazing. Everything feels exactly the same, but it looks so good. Best remaster in recent history.
*EDIT: After seeing both playstyles, I can't help but feel like moonmoon had a much more entertaining style than Clint. Clint was cheesing it with stationary manuals, which has been known since the first time around as a way of cheesing a high combo if you have max balance stats. Moonmoon was doing it properly, and the game rewarded him for it. Clint clearly realised he wasn't reaching his full potential by just doing a manual on the spot, and as soon as he started playing the game properly he hit a much much higher score, one big enough to completely crush Moonmoon. GG to Clint for adapting his playstyle and seeing when he could do better and how.
