The main stat selection is likely gated by limited items, I think the battle pass had an item to that effect.

Pretty sure that guaranteeing the main stat is going to take that item in the Outpost rewards store (Tuning Calibrator) but I guess we'll just have to wait and see

When to start farming it from 35-40?
Like uhh when do i unlock the s tier ones?
You unlock the Level 40 domain at Level 35. I think you should start farming at Level 35 because you don't get your next talent or character level domains until level 40 and prefarming isn't efficient.
It’s sucks because every hoyo games has that one place that it’s very energy efficient to farm to where even if you don’t get what you are farming for the other thing you do get is useful. But not here
is it worth using ether batteries (energy recharge) to farm disks at lvl 35?
Nah. Just max up your existing disc will be enough
No. General rule of thumb for these games is that you want to save your energy recharges for the highest level domains.

anomaly character their damage can crit?
Anomaly themselves can not crit, so anomaly characters want anomaly mastery and prof instead of crit rate and damage. Their base damage can crit but its always gonna be lower than attackers so no point doubling down on it, same with stunners. Its actually only attackers with their high % damage that want crit, but for saving resource crit set is still decent just because it also gives attack and all character start with unbalanced crit rate/dmg ratio making crit rate% more viable.

so crit isn't completely useless just that anomaly damage scales with atk, prof, ele dmg%, pen and mastery better

Well each engine is specifically made for each character so it really depends on the character you’re using. Each one is specific to the character you’re playing so they are all good for at least SOMEONE A

@@bikih360 ahhh I think it’s kinda a nuanced topic, each of them does things so differently im sure it’ll probably take a while for an in depth video to be released. The game is less than a week old still but I know someone is working on this, I’ve been wondering a little too which w engines are more worth
@bikih360 they all are. There's a dedicated w drive for every character in the s rank slots we have. Since each one is catered to a specific character every s rank drive is futureproof. Unless you dont have the character its for. The same is true for the dedicated a rank drives. Theres 1 for each character
Edit: unless something goes horribly wrong later down the line every characters dedicated w drive is theyre best in slot always
