Tks, using an iMac, went to Audio Midi, and master control was not ticked, was upgraded to 10.15.6 over night!!!!!, now have sound so thanks very much young😊👍I’m 77yrs old😫

Apple --> System preferences --> Sound...that did it. I recently made some hardware upgrades and for whatever reason, things were reset to default and not using my interface. Thanks!
Oh my god! What a bummer! At least you have it fixed now luckily! My go to for computer problems is a reset or a PRAM reset(see apples website for instructions), just thought I’d let you know to help you out in the future!
