Looks like it was a lovely lounge and cool that you get the passes with your banking. Very interesting that this is the richest square mile of South Africa!! I can't wait to visit one day. Seems like an amazing country especially from all your videos. Can't wait for the tour of tour accommodation!!

We were so gutted for you guys hearing your Egypt trip got cancelled. We know all too well the feeling of everything getting cancelled 😞 24 lounge visits a year is a pretty decent amount with your bank. We get 2 a year 😅 Nice airline 😉 We have had that Uber issue before in London and Vegas, they’re not allowed in certain taxi areas, the battle is real but we love Uber ☺️
We feel kind of bad for being so sad about Egypt, because we know you guys had it worse 😓 but...you’re also an inspiration, despite everything, you’re continuing your journey across the world, and that gives us a lot of hope 💛
Hey guys got a trip coming up shortly flying over there 😁 though if I fly in a day or so earlier I'll save around $800, my question is, what is it like at and around the airport? Like is it safe to stay there or around that area anywhere? Thank you
Wow! That’s a big saving!! Just double checking if you’re referring to King Shaka airport in Durban? The closest coastal towns to the airport unfortunately suffered with flood damage recently, so we’d suggest getting either an Uber or one of the taxis (they wait at arrivals, make sure they’re accredited by the airport) and go and stay in Ballito which is about a 10km drive. We’re not aware of any accommodation at the airport itself. But Ballito is one of our favourite places in KZN 😊 Just a general safety tip for South Africa is to always be aware of your surroundings and don’t leave things lying around. And keep your valuables close on your body, I always keep my handbag squeezed under my arm 😅 We’ve always felt safe at the airport though, as well as in Ballito.
