徐三寿 That's the thing, George Hill is not just a Point Guard as he can play the Shooting Guard as well. That's why he's an all-around underrated basketball player.
well his standing reach is over 8ft so he would have to only have to have a vertical in the 20's to barely dunk and his vert is in the mid 30's so yah he can throw it down nicely lol
Pacers fan here. Just thought I would give Jazz fans an idea about what they are getting with Hill. Hill had a bit of a love hate relationship I guess you could say with Pacer fans which wasn't entirely his fault. The role he was forced into primarily was being a distributor..... particularly prior to going to a more uptempo offense last year where we play more of a half court game prior to that. He was expected to walk the ball up the court often and read the defense and have the court vision to distribute the ball. He obviously was a scoring option but he wasn't very high on the list. The offense was supposed to go through either West, Hibbert or George and he was to decide the right play to get into......Not his strength. When PG got injured we got a taste of that attacking G Hill however. Fast forward to this past year and we bring in my opinion a less efficient player in Monta Ellis whos not a very good shooter outside 16 feet and then Hill was made to take a backseat to Monta. Hill is best at playing the 2 guard and spotting up shooting of a feed to him...particularly corner 3. The Spurs used him right all along as a back up Guard who can play the Point but more of a spot duty. Where he excels is 2 Guard. He just lacks the size and consistent aggressive attack to start at that role but he is efficient in his shots. Where he will struggle is in the half court where he will have to make decisions on where to go sometimes with the ball and the ball movement stalls or comes to a complete stop. He also lacks court vision. you guys aren't getting a good passer here, your getting an efficient scorer but one who has been inconsistent with his aggressiveness. I will miss him though. I'd much rather have him at the 2 Guard now that what we have their now in Monta but we were tied to Ellis longer. You guys are getting an efficient scorer but often one that will leave you wishing he was more aggressive with his shot. A player where if he was your back up and you had a star ahead of him your in good shape but forced to play PG extended minutes and distribute the ball he will struggle
TBH a lot of PG's can catch and throw down alley oops, Brandon Jennings, George Hill here, Eric Bledsoe, Westbrook, Wall, but then again, you don't really see people throw alley oops to PG's that's why we don't see it very often
Hill could either be that side kick that comes in and saves the day, or he can't do anything right at all lol. But as a Pacers fan, w'ere going to miss him. He had some pretty good memories in Indy.
I think Lindsey will have to end up clearing up space by sending Shelvin and Withey to Nets or some place where there is plenty of cap space in exchange for draft picks to clear rooms for players like Aaron Craft, Bolomboy, who can be the next Favors in 2 seasons, and Paige, who Quin likes very much. Tibor Pleiss would not make a roster in any other teams. He is no Boban in Spurs where his PIE was off the chart in D-league. Jazz will have to find a player better than Gobert like Myles Turner. Gobert has a major defect that he can't draw fouls and can't shoot at the charity stripe. Now the rule changes, it might help hide his weakness a little bit. He isn't a two-way player without Exum feeding him like Dennis Lindsey ultimately desires. And I like Erick Green and Butterfield and some others in the summer league. I know Stars are a better place for them right now. Rounding up, Withey, Mack should go as they are solid backups and have trade values. Tibor should be traded for a future draft pick for a Gobert 2.0. Bolomboy should be added to the roster. Chris Johnson is someone Quin likes very much and should be back. Favors and Exum will have to prove their worth this season as Diaw/Bolomboy and Hill can take their places. I hope Joe Johnson gets a role in rotation and dons No. 8 jersey - I think at this point of his career, you have to take into consideration of him missing 30-40 games due to injuries. Gordon, Alec, Hood can all up their game to become a top 30-40 player in the league. Hopefully Gobert won't get injured this season. He can't play major minutes for 82 games like Myles Turner can.
Idk why though! I wanted to see Shelvin Mack with the keys, I also really like their back- court bench combo of Exum and Burks. Gotta send Hayward on his way, Hood can take over. A trade for a KCP type wouldn't surprise me
George Hill is one of the most all-around underrated basketball players in the NBA.
add "pg"

Miller2h41 so u mean the "combo guard"? how about Oladipo? all-round player at least play 3 positions i think, such as Giannis Antetokounmpo
徐三寿 However you want to say it but George Hill is an all-around (Offense & Defense) underrated basketball player.
@@Nihility-vk8oo those two aren't underrated though
We will miss your George hill !!
He's got a pretty sweet jumper, but I never knew, that George Hill can get up the way he did, he's got amazing leaping ability.😁😁👍👍
I'll be honest I had no idea he could dunk LIKE THAT.

come to LA
Who's here before he signs with the Lakers?
me lol
Profound Genius lmao me too. Would be a good signing for LA for a year. This team will be fun to watch. Finally!
George hill is would be a nice addition. I don't think we have enough to become a playoff team though sadly
Hopefully at least in a fight for 8th
West is too heavy. Lakers have depth is the pieces in place grow then 8th is possible lol. Portland,Clippers,Utah, and not much else at the bottom.
would love to see him with the Raptors if lowry actually leave.
Just wish he was more aggressive in Indiana
