Tired of the ridiculous suggestions people give for preparing your body for Jiu-jitsu? Let us cut out the BS and give it to you straight.
Covered in Part 2:
Is lifting heavy dangerous - and how should I lift to get the results I want?
Will lifting make me less flexible - and how to I get mobile enough to train BJJ comfortably?
Recovery - what the heck actually allows me to recover? CBD? Massage guns? Acupuncture?
Stay tuned for part 3 where we give away a free minimalist training plan to get you resilient, mitigate injury, and improve performance on the mats! Coming soon...
If you prefer to read your information, we've already covered a lot of this in our blog. Check it out here (and check out other articles for more FREE info):

Thank you for this great information. In my personal experience, once one has built certain training habits I dont feel is harmful as the body has adapted to that.
Agreed! I essentially said that, but with a focus on rate of change. Your personal experience is on point!
2 down, one to go 👍🏼
Love it! Enjoying them so far?
@@ElectrumPerformance Yessir, thank you. I think I'm going to try and implement a low impact routine for recovery.
You giving lifting advice and looking like you have never lifted a day in your life is hilarious.
Despite what you think of my appearance, I like how my body looks and performs. It's allowed me to squat double bodyweight, deadlift triple bodyweight, and bench well over 1.5x and allowed me to train jiu-jitsu for the last 20 years.
But comments like this seldom come from people happy with their own bodies or progress, so for that I'm sorry bub. Feel free to subscribe if you want to learn how to actually train 😘
