    Is there anything else I can use ither than non stick cooking spray??

      Yes, you can melt some vegetable shortening in microwave and rub on fondant. Do not put to much because it will become slippery and not too less or stencil wont stick. So start off with just enough to coat the fondant lightly press your stencil if it sticks on then good if it doesnt add more vegetable shortening..if your stencil is sliding off then wipe off some of vegetable shortening. Thats why I prefer to use vegetable spray because it just gives a even light coat.
