- Hi 👋
I hope you enjoy these salsa verdes!
They are spicy ! You can always add less serranos, more tomatillos or substitute jalapeños for the serranos!

The final salsa is a salsa I’ve been trying to find a recipe for for a LONG time. Feels like it’s in most taquerias but I could never find a recipe for it…. That is until the fateful day I came across this video. I just made it and it’s amazing. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much!!! About to eat tacos this entire week
Yay! I’m glad you liked it ! It’s perfect for tacos! Enjoy 😊
@@Marlen2527 ❤❤❤thanks i also like picy to 111322
Good morning to all the Garlic is the best if you eat it Raw/Limon or with honey if you have it against the parasite also Energy tooo have a wonderful day or night 111322❤❤❤
Yes thank u so much for posting this. I’m a witness that this salsa is fire as well. I was very tempted to put cilantro and garlic but I didn’t. And I’m so glad I didn’t. It was very good. Def my type of sauce!
You’re welcome! You know what I like about Salsas? We can always add or subtract ingredients to make them to our liking :) you can add the cilantro and garlic , but the flavor is going to be different - probably delicious too just a little different 😃
Salsa #3 is the salsa I've been trying to make for years and failed.
For all my H-Town folks, this is the closest salsa recipe to the ones in those taco trucks and restaurants. It's amazing, best recipe on YT.
THANK YOU!
Thank you ❤️
That’s is so true I’m from houston with a taco truck and still can’t make that salsa
Give it a try! Hopefully you’ll like it !
My taco stand is outside huetamo if you want to pass by.
It’s crazy I’m really from the H🤘🏾 looking for that last recipe🤣
i was going to skip gardening this year but now i want to make these so i am going to grow the ingredient
Just made salsa #3!! It’s SPICY and totally worth it! So simple and so dang good. Thank you!
Great presentation easy to follow recipe. Thank you for sharing 🙏
Thank you :) 😀
I made all 3 for my Frybread Tacos. My family loved them all!!! I will never buy salsa verde ever again!
Thank you! Gracias!!
Yaay!! Glad they liked it !salsa is super easy to make !!!
the 3rd one is my favorite.. I too always thought it was made with avocado.. just moved to Maine from Texas, I realize I'll have to make my own as they've never heard of it here... thank you
Hope you like it !!! :)
I have been trying to make this salsa for very long time. Number three is the one I’ve been trying and wow my wife and I love the flavor
Thanks ! Glad you liked it!!
i love gardening and i grow tomatillos. homemade salsa verde with vegetables straight from the garden is incredible
Yuummm! Veggies from the garden make it taste better !! I grew tomatillos a few years ago ❤️
Thank you for posting. I've been looking for the 3rd recipe and everybody told me it was the avocado recipe and I knew that was wrong because it doesn't turn black like avocado does
You’re welcome! The oil
Gives it the avocado look 😊
Wait type of oil did you use for salsa #3?
I used canola oil , vegetable and corn oil work too! 😀
I've been looking for how to make this for years. Thank you
😊😊
I'm glad you did all three but the last one is my favorite. I've been looking for that recipe .
One of my favorites too!!
Thank God I didn’t lose this video. Salsa number 3 is straight fire
My favorite !!
Thank you so much! Your last serrano sauce #3 ( the one thats your favorite at the moment of this video ) I've been trying to perfect. It sounds silly but I'v found myself so stressed out over it. Im in love with chilis ( Mexicans salsas & sauces period! )and especially SERRANO! I think you've just made my world! I appreciate you so much.
Thank you again! 🙏🌺
Thank you! ❤️ In the past few years I’ve started to cook with serranos and absolutely love it!
I have someone who's allergic to avocado but I love it. Now both our worlds can meet with the 3rd salsa thanks girl.
Hope you like it 😊!!!
All 3 are nice and definitely will try them out. Will be using sauce 2.
I’m in love with your salsa making.
Thank you!!!
@@Marlen2527 no problemo.
Thank you so much for this i've been looking for this type of recipe for ages!
Glad you found it !!! ❤️
I made salsa #2 with jalapeños it taste good! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!! ❤️
I just made the last of the three and It works perfect! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 thank you for the recipe!
My pleasure !! 😊
Amazing…. 🔥 will never buy from store anymore… so easy to make and so good. Thanks!
Oooo, I am Puerto Rican and I want to use it on my rice and beans 😋
I love arroz con gandules !!!
Goodness this is the best I just made it and wow thank you this will be my go to salsa now!
Glad you liked it ❤️
Thanks for sharing your recipes! I've been trying to replicate the smooth green salsa I get with my tacos, down here in Houston. Awesome 👍
Edit: The smooth sauce is really good on burgers and grilled chicken as well
Thank you! It’s one of my favorite! I like it with chips and on tamales 🫔 too :)
#3 🎉 Thank you so much for sharing the recipes 🤤
Thank you for sharing the varieties. All look so yummy, I would use all for all🙂
My pleasure ! I hope you give them a try!! ☺️
This video started my salsa verde addiction🙏❤
The final salsa I made, and it is extremely delicious. Thank you for your demo as I followed along. (One observation/adjustment? I think you mentioned 6 oz olive oil. I looked at what your mini frying pan looked like, and used about 2.5-3 oz olive oil. I put about 1cm high in a small skillet. I think next time I will use 2-2.5oz. Hopefully I am not wrecking the recipe in reducing the olive oil amount. I watched the amount it looked like you were using.) I would start small with the bouillon as it is very salty, but it does add that extra flavor.
It is a very delicious salsa, and I will continue to make it. (It freezes well, too!)
Glad you liked it ! I used canola oil :) you can adjust the amount of oil depending on the consistency that you prefer . ;)
Looks good! I’m going to make the last one for some Barbacoa that I’m making tomorrow. Thanks for the recipes!
The last one is my fave! ☺️
I've made the first two before (or something close to them, roasted tomatillos vs boiled tomatillos), however, the third one is completely new to me. I'm definitely going to try it the next time I make salsa, which will be very soon! As far as what I would pair them with, I would say grilled fish (salmon is delicious with tomatillo sauce) or grilled chicken are the first to come to mind. Thank you for sharing your recipies!!! Yummm 😁
Thank you for sharing ❤❤
I’m going to try these today.
I hope you like them ❤️ the third one is my fave 😊
Salsa #3 is the one that looks like the one i like, 6 serranos, 2 tomatillos, onion, 1.5 tbsp of chicken bullion, 6oz of oil....., I'll try it your way first, if it's not I'll probably do this but add garlic, maybe sour cream, But this looks like the consistency i like from tepatitlan restaurant here in Houston, same color and creamy look... Thanks!
The oil is what gives it the creamy color and you can make it the consistency that you prefer just add more or less of the oil - yup you can add garlic :)
@@Marlen2527 thanks for the reply, what kind of oil do you use?
I use Canola oil - corn and vegetable work good too:)
On my to do list. So simple and that last one looks just like avocado and because of a medical condition I can't eat avocado so I'm excited to try this, YAY Thanks
I hope you like them!! The last one is my favorite - :) I like easy recipes ❤️
This is what I have been looking for
Thanks. I’m going to make the fresh one to go along with my tamales this year.
My pleasure!! Yummm! 😊
Delicious😍😍😍😍😍
Great video !!!!!!!!!!! I made all of them soo good !!
Great video, thanks so much!! There’s so much less tamatillos than I thought in salsa verde..
Thank you 😊
Thank you for this video👌🏼👌🏼
Where did you buy your blender? It looks cool so I wanna get one too.
I bought it at Target - it’s a ninja . 🤗
Delicious salsas.
Thank you 😊
I just made the last one. Tha k you!
Saved the best for last. The one we've all been looking for lol. I got tired of spending $12 to buy salsas every week so I'm gonna start making that last one and the Chile de árbol salsa. Looks so damn good I'm excited 😆
Thanks! The last one is my fave! it’s so easy to make too! 😊
Yes thank you for #3!!! What spices can we use instead of bouillon if we don’t have it? Cumin, salt, pepper?
You’re Welcome ☺️ You can substitute the chicken bouillon with salt .
I use little black pepper, cumin, and Mexican oregano (not Italian) in my salsas. I also roast my jalapeños and tomatillos brushed generously with olive oil and add that oil with it in the blender
Sounds delish!
Cumin , garlic, oregano , salt , pepper - the taste will be different .
I will make the slowly roasted Salsa Verde I think that's the most healthiest I don't need the extra oil in my diet or synthetic chicken cube and I like that it has texture slow roasted.
#3 is what I been looking for!!! Many failed in attempt over the past year. I'm really glad you let us know that it was really spicy in advance therefore I only did 4 serranos, and just 1tbs of bullion but other than that was absolutely amazing!!!!!
I would like to store for longer periods do you know about putting it in the freezer or ways to keep it longer ?
Thank you 😊 ! You can always use jalapeño peppers too . You can add a bit of white vinegar so it lasts maybe 5-6 days in the fridge .
I’ve never store salsas in the freezer so not sure if the consistency will change .
So fire thank you Miss🤝
How about the tomatilloes that already crack? Should we use it?
I do not use them 😬
Look so good, how long does this last in the fridge?
@Jessica Nguyen Thanks! About 5 days.
What type of oil do you use for the 3rd one? Thank you!!
I used Canola oil .Corn and Vegetable oil works too. 😊
#3 is how I judge a mexican restaurant. If they bring it out when I sit down I know I'm in for a damn good meal.
Agree 💯 !!
@@Marlen2527 So my wife made it and it's literally PERFECT. Thank you for this. I've tried to find an actual recipe before and never came close. My wife is mad that I keep bugging her to make more because I already smashed the first lol. So she thanks you for that lol.
I’m glad you found the recipe and like it!!! ☺️Thank you!!!!
súper
saludos Marlen
Hola @Carla Mtz Muchas gracias ☺️ espero y te gusten !
What kind of oil do you use on salsa #3?
I used canola oil - vegetable and corn oil work too!
Looks great!!what is the life span once refrigerated?
Thanks ! About 4-5 days refrigerated ;)
Can it be refrigerated for a long time?
If you want it to last about a week add a little bit of vinegar - in a jar / mason jar seems to last longer :)
Do you use table salt or sea salt?
Sea salt , but table salt work too.
What kind of oil did you use for the last salsa?
Canola oil - vegetable and corn work well too :)
For Salsa #2, does anyone know if I can torch them with a kitchen torch or should I stick to cast iron? I wanted to see if I can speed up the process a bit
You can torch them - just make sure they cook all they way .
Can I add avocados to salsa # 3 ?
Yes!!
I been wondering how to make the last one forever!!!!!
Glad you found it !!! 😀
I just purchased all the ingredients from the store. Going to make it with some lengua tacos.
@kevinhill3549 Yuummm !!! Happy cooking !!! 😁
Can you make the last salsa with only jalapeños and onion +seasoning
Yes -
@@Marlen2527 if I don’t have chicken bouillon what can I use instead
@valeriesilva9944 you can add salt 🧂
How long do you blend for to fully incorporate the oil for salsa #3?
For about 5 mins - the longer you blend it , the better.
The 3rd salsa can have garlic in it too??
You can definitely add garlic !
is there a difference between boiling or frying them? or is it still the same outcome?
oh sorry i asked way before the first salsa was done 😅 i saw someone frying them in another video and got to curious
@tom nook - Hi there! Yes they have different flavors and textures. The first one has a fresh flavor because of the cilantro , the second one has char flavor and the last one has a creamy consistency- because of the oil - my fave for tacos 🌮
@@Marlen2527 thank you! i really appreciate you responding back! Im definitely going to try making all three this weekend 💗
Let me know which one you like the best! 😉
I would pair them with birria tacos
Yummm!
another question, is onion optional? i don’t mind it but i don’t want to walk back into superior lol
You can skip the onion , if it’s not your fave 😉
For #3 can I use avocado oil?
I hace not used avocado oil - only canola , corn and vegetable -
Gracias
What type of oil do you use? is it vegetable oil?
I used canola oil , but vegetable oil works too!
I'm still working on making toast.
You can definitely make these !!
@@Marlen2527 I'm in New Mexico. Are you aware that Colorado is arguing that their chillies are superior to those in New Mexico! We are close to a civil war here! If it comes to this New Mexico can count me in! Boy, I need to learn how to cook.
I put it on my cereal, lolz just kidding on my tacos for shure
For the third recipe, I’m assuming you’re using Canola oil ?
Yes , it’s Canela oil . Vegetable and corn oil work too.
Has anyone made #1
#3 is the one!
One of my favorite!
Last one is my favorite but the most un healthiest 😢
Mine too! 🤦🏽♀️😬
❤️💚❤️
Wasabi would seem to blend well with the 3rd salsa
Yuuummmm!
I made #3 and it wasn’t spicy at all 😢 almost creamy. What happened :(
Add more peppers for more spice . It is suppose to be creamy .
Mild peppers is the problem
I didn’t have a serrano, so I substituted a habañero. The end result will wake you the F up!
💯
Alguien me puede explicar por qué está en inglés ??????😢
Hola , esta receta es en Inglés , pero tengo otra en español :)
Chris looks so freaking good
What if we don't like it that spicy?
You can add less Serrano peppers or use jalapeño peppers and take the seeds out of the peppers :)
@@Marlen2527 …..for the 3rd salsa, you said 6 ounces of oil??? It looks like you used waaaay less. It’s 1/2 a can of soda. Then when you add it to the blender cup it is a little bit
It’s a total of about 6 ounces . When I start to cook the serranos I add the majority of the oil . You can add more or less depending on the consistency you’d like for the salsa .
@@Marlen2527 …….. thank you. I made it EXACTLY to the recommendation on your video and my VERY PICKY son LOVED IT!! He posted a pic on his tik tok thing. Yay, I’m a cool mom now ❤️ thanks Marlen!
Yay 😀 that’s awesome ! I’m glad he loved it ❤️
I love your recipe especially for the creamy salsa that looks like avocado, but can you specify is it white onion or yellow onion that we need to use and also the oil what kind of oil should we use canola olive oil that would help us a lot to get the exact flavors that you’re wanting us to produce that would be critical to this recipe. So do you mind let me know cause right now I got like 2 pounds of tomatillos in about a half a pan of jalapeños in a pan of Serranos in a bunch of yellow and white onions and a bunch of cilantro and chicken bouillon I’m ready to make it but I would like to know the oil and white onion or yellow onion please please please pretty please let me know soon I’m waiting till I hear from you so thank you very very much God bless you your family and friends and I pray to the Lord Jesus Christ to bring you lots of love peace and prosperity for your family and friends and remember the most important thing of all according to the Bible in the book of revelations there’s only a handful of prophecies left in the book of revelations. So my sister please if you know somebody that needs to repent repent so they don’t parish away in hell with the devil so repent if you need to and invite other people because eternity is forever and ever made all the glory go to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and God our God of Abraham the true living God. ✝️✝️✝️🇺🇸. Hi There !! I use white onion and canola oil. Vegetable and corn oil work well too. Saludos ❤️ I hope you like it!!!
@@Marlen2527 well I want to tell you something it came out perfect very very delicious I just ate like 4 ounces of it and my mouth is a little bit on fire but that’s OK I like them hot ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
