Great video! Is it possible to see the physical location of a tp link router? I have mine on via a sim card providing WiFi on my boat. I would like to see if you can see its physical location like 'find my phone' etc
it would need to have gps on it... or software that can analyze the surrounding ssid names and bluetooth beacons and determine the approximate location. but of course on a boat i doubt there would be different wifi/bluetooth signals around you. so short answer no.
he is accessing through public ipv4 of the router so it doesnt matter whether you are connected to the internet through mobile network or broadband network it will work in any case
@@MAK_007 It will not work outside the network for this router. I tried already in many ways. You need at least Archer C64 for remote management from anywhere connected to the internet.
I have AC750 router and there is no option remote management in the security tab hover this option is available in the system tool then administrator but it’s not working bro can you help please
If you find a solution please share, ive had this problem and found out that due to ipv4 shortage, ISPs use something called CGNAT, which is a system that shares IPv4 addresses among users, this interferes with the remote management feature.
This will works if your public ip address on static ip mode, if you were using dynamic public ip, it will not works u less u subcribed to any VPN provider.

There are no more public IPs assigned to individual users in India. So this is not going to work.

How this is a remote management? the router is on the same network. Is there something like Tether app but from a PC ?
it is remote because you can remotely manage while you are outside of the private network.
