Dr. Martens. The Air Sole feels really good whenever I put my foot down. That being said, Dr. Martens are overpriced, and poorly constructed. The leather is not the best. The welt is PVC, and it's actually melted to the PVC sole with a "hot knife". But only one thing matters. When I'm on my motorcycle, and I put my foot down on the pavement, it's soft, cushioned, and grips at the same time.
I wear a pair of Danner Kinetics 6” to ride, mainly because of waterproofness and sole grip. I’m on my second pair now and would go for a third, if/when needed. I once bought a pair of Alpinestar riding boots but they slipped on wet asphalt. They had absolutely terrible grip, very unsafe IMO. So I decided to wear tactical boots with slip resistant soles, that’s when a bought the Danners and I’m very happy with the performance. The Goretex layer works perfectly while riding under rain. Thanks for the review.
I bought a pair of Danner Acadia in 11b today. I put them on and walked half a mile. I haven't been able to walk to the mailbox, even barefooted, for weeks. A good shoe that fits right and a comfortable mattress that gives proper back support are the two material possessions that will bring more happiness than anything else you'll ever buy.
I have 2 pairs of these I bought at military surplus in tan, they were basically brand new, for $100 each pair, I love them and they’ve lasted for years still in great shape.
Solid review Mike. They look like they held up pretty well. My favorite boot to date is the Indie Ridge lineup. They just released an updated version but no funds to try them out yet.
For the last six years my go to boot was an R-Jays Terrain 2. Very comfy and affordable. I was able to wear these at work and walking in them was fine. I have just started to wear my Johnny Reb Rascal boots. Will be doing a review on them in a few months once I have worn them for a while.
I have been stuck on TCX brand riding shoes for about 7 years now. They offer good protection and still look like a nice high top shoe when off the bike
Cool review. I hear that. My feet was sore walking few miles of concrete but it was wet slippery & some off trail rugged. What’s a good balance of standing comfort but just enough to tread wet off terrains in some standing water dirt trails? I’ve had awesome standing comfort in old Justin Original GTX but the logger boot was too heavy to walk far & more tread then I needed then
Hey guys do the feet sweat in these ? I’m a beer delivery guy and I’ve been chewing through Bates. I love tactical boots but I need them to last on the job as well
with a size 16EEEEE i wear what fits :) i'm also one of those knuckleheads that gets caught riding in shorts & no shoes so >< haha but yeah. . . shoes / boots / sandals suck when you're an ogre.
You have to shell out for a good boot to get a narrow size. It's worth it if you must buy new. Shop Ebay to look for good deals on barely used boots. I'm really liking my Danner Acadia 11B. I have a pair of Redwing 923s in 11B on the way. Total investment $170. I may never have to buy boots again.
You can get these in a B width and I’ve got some that are 25 years old. I also find I can wear the moto gtx by danner in the regular width but with an insole.
What is your favorite Motorcycle Boot?

Order solovair's better quality pretty much same boot but it's from the old English factory@chinatownboy7482

Thanks for the review.
Been in them since 89. Love them. From fires, motorcycles, snow… snowboarding. Great boots
Just got off a ride and wore the same boot. My pair was issued while stationed in Germany in 2009. Agree. Great boot for riding and camping, rucking.
I've had a set of these for about 20 years that I wore EVERY day at work, and they are still in great shape. They are expensive but worth it.

I’m going to do a review on several different pairs of boots I have tried up to my most recent purchase of riding shoes

My next review will be the Motorcycle Riding Shoes I just bought a month ago.

Sweet boots. Looking comfy. Hate to say my favorite boots are Bilt Chinese but great quality sorry to say
These are perfect for riding!!!
Merrell has a tactical style boot that is the most comfortable boot that I’ve owned. I highly recommend it. They feel like wearing tennis shoes.
Thanks I might try them I just bought a pair of riding shoes to try
I’ve walked the tiers for years wearing these boots, my knees feel it more then they use to…. I use soft insoles and it’s a game changer

I looked closely at them but found something a little more affordable to try.
@@RidingintheOzarks Nothing wrong with that. I have a buddy that wears the street and steal line of riding shoes and loved them.
Thanks for the review. I like to being a pair tennis a long to change.
I hate packing extra shoes....
I’ve been wearing Danner Acadia’s for 20 years.
My all time favorite boot.
I typically get 5 years out of these boots.
I beat them to hell
There is no doubt they are tough!
Great looking boots. I need to look at getting new ones at some point.
I am going to be doing a review soon of some riding shoes I got just before vacation, might want to hold off, I really like them.
@@RidingintheOzarks Ok sounds good. I’ll wait

I’m testing out some Brunt Workwear boots right now.
I have a pair of Ariat lace ups, heavy boots. hardly wear thm.
I have some Ariats but don't wear them for riding, they are leather soled.

I have not had an issue with that and I definitely think they are tougher than the bates…
👍

Size 16 god damn bro how tall are you
I have a hard time getting boots narrow enough. I find that mfgs think we all have wide feet.
