seeing your earlier videos in comparison to this shows how much you've improved, both in the gameplay department as well as the confidence on screen (although the run is still fantastic)
also interesting about what you said at the end. it's a shame you feel that you could have gotten more out of it, but for me i feel the inverse where i feel like i would have gotten more out of it if i did play for youtube as it would be more of a motivatior to improve instead of wallowing around the "can 1cc normal if i put in some effort" area.
Ah that’s an interesting perspective. For me I’ve always been able to gain motivation and fun from intrinsic play because I have insanely high self confidence. But you are right, doing it for a video is a very strong push to gettin er done
Not to worry F̡ac͜e͡l̨e̶ss͟ , my next video will exclusively talking about kinks. The odd ways in which they are formed and how we have little to no say in the matter, About those who express their kinks and those who don't and why, the works. The amount to cover with just this topic alone is insane
Man your videos improved so much. And you actually started a channel. I'm just sitting here with some touhou video essay ideas on lore and music theory and creating nothing.
Yea getting started on the whole video making thing is real tough, and I struggled a lot with motivation at the beginning too. Knowing for a fact that the stuff your making is no good while trying to get your bearings feels like shit. I can see it being extra hard for a start like yours, where you would prolly have to write a script (or something similar) and jump right into the editing. I dunno if it'll help but here's what I did to help me get thru it: after going thru school and not really liking anything in particular, I knew there was basically only one thing I loved; which was presenting. For me I feel like either I do this in life, or I wither away and die without doing anything meaningful in life. Its not a CHOICE for me, either I get that video out or its over. For me making deadlines actually does help, it keeps me grounded and helps get me off my ass to do that work. (maybe that was a bit extreme but eh works for me) Its also important if you actually like it at the end of the day. Sure its not always fun to edit a video, but it DOES feel good to finish it and bask in that. If you don't feel good after the fact, it might be hard or even impossible to get the motivation for your next project. But that's enough rambling, here's my recommendation. Since your having a rough time getting started, I would try making something as simple as possible. What I did for a while was that I literally just uploaded raw gameplay from obs. That's the shit you would do at the START of RUclips, but I did it in late 2021. I did this because my first videos were essentially just practice. But even so I was still able to have some fun with it. So think of the most simple idea you can, and try doing that. You can set a time to get to work and a deadline too, see if that helps. But uhhh yea im gonna stop here lol. You can dm me on discord if you have more questions or want help; my username is iPhone 4S#3635 (dont worry im not making fun of you thats actually it)
Damn you’ve grown so much since your first uploads and I’m really proud. That also gives me hope to actually get a channel doing better or sth as well
I will personally come to your house and home and give you an injection of motivation

chuggaaconroy is such a legend. The majoras mask play through is still one of my favorites (even if it’s just nostalgia).
You should play Mountain of France
Good to see this game again.
Been awhile.
shame the rambling ended on kinks before it started to get good, it really is the most interesting part of people
