to anyone wanting to make the bag smaller or larger: make the starting chain a multiple of 5+1 for the turning chain, and make the base larger or smaller by adding 5 rows per one square. to match the tutorial, add 10 rows for 2 more squares on the side. :)
Recently made a tricolor of this (coffee, beige, white) as a gift and it turned out great. My mom loved it so much!! Thank u for ur kindness in sharing this amazing tutorial 🤍🌹
Wow what an amazingly detailed and well explained tutorial. Amazing job thank you 🫶🏻🥰. I agree with you with floating the yarn gives it a more defined and clean look. I find carrying the yarn can give it a thick and bulky uneven look. Love the bag and colours!!
My first ever crochet project is finally finished! It came out smaller cause i used a 4.0mm needle ,probably a thinner yarn but I’m happy with the results anyway, thank you!!💗
when doing row 12, are the tails being floated on the incorrect side? i’m still working out which is right and wrong side and i thought when the tail is on my bottom right it’s the wrong side
@@KenikseCrochet that’s not super helpful when i can’t count rows 😭 i’m trying to base it off the position of the tail because that changes like the row number but i just don’t know if it’s on the right or left with odd rows

Hiiii, I don't really understand what you meant for the base part
@@backyardigan1347 the base panel i guess
Usually, first two rows are base
@@backyardigan1347by base i meant the very bottom!

Thank you so much!!🫶🏼 To be fair, its not super hard, it may only look like it!

For the lining, do you hand sew it or use a sewing machine?
Thank you! I used sewing machine and have tutorial on it, but if that is no option, you can hand sew it🫶🏼

Your right side is when you work your odd number rows, 1, 3, 5 etc

How long would you guesstimate it takes to make this bag? Thank you
I did it in three days. Some hours every evening.
It took me 5 days in total, it depends on the amount of time and speed
Maybe 15-16 hours all together? This is what it took me🫶🏼
amazingg!!! thank youuu
Is this bag beginner friendly this would be my second crochet project and I was wondering if this would be me level?
It’s beginner friendly, I started making it yesterday as my second project too
what are the measurements of the bag ? like how wide and long is it without the straps ?
Can you make 3D flower granny square bag ❤❤
I’ll keep this in mind 🫶🏼
Super Cute
Thank you!♥️
omg we have the same name!
Maşallah çok güzel olmuş
Thank you!♥️
how much ply is the yarn pls ?
it looks like 3? could be 4 with a tighter thread
i’m using 4 with a 4.5mm hook and it’s a liiiitle bigger, but this is a “chunkier” 4 out of the others i own
@@ladybugspritz oh tysmm❤️
She said she is using Aran weight yarn, which is 10 ply

Can we use any type of yarn 😢
Yes we can! I used wollen yarn, it turned out really pretty
Can someone tell me the dimensions of the finished bag?
Can we add a zipper?
can I make it with a single color?
You can. Just continue to single crochet across each row and ignore the steps to change colour
You deffo can!
❤❤
♥️♥️
can u use acrylic yarn??
Yes!! I am right now and it turns out completely fine!
also do u think if u don’t know how to sew you could crochet it together?
@mehakkhosla1125 I'm not completely sure but I'd say yes, maybe do a slip stitch instead of sewing?
Como fica o aversso?
I have tutorial on how to sew in lining, where you can see how reversed side looks like 🫶🏼
