Did you finish the episode? He paid the guy giving him pills to give him his vicodin. House never detoxed in rehab. It’s only when he went to Mayfield in season 6 do we see him detox.

However I do remember them showing House having to cath himself due to the fact the high and long use of opiates had weakened his bladder muscles so much to the point he could not urinate. lol

Sure, it certainly makes Vicodin abuse seem cool to an extent, but it also shows the negative effect that it has on House. And right from the start we're shown that House isn't a good person. He's flawed, he's messed up, he screws with peoples' heads for fun, he does too many drugs. And its also a reference to Sherlock Holmes. It's no big secret that House is basically Sherlock Holmes with a medical degree. I mean... Holmes (Home), House. Watson, Wilson. Sherlock Holmes loved cocaine, and to a lesser extent morphine. Vicodin abuse is a great modern equivalent to Holmes' cocaine habit (which was legal during his time.)

House makes me want to be an avid painkiller popper. At this point in my life, physical pain is a very familiar face from surgeries on both shoulders due to multiple dislocations, to chronic fissures/pudendal nerve damage to pelvic hip pain to most likely having crohns/ulcerative colitis. Throw major depression/stress on top of all that and you got a constant pain soufflé & I’m 22 years old & im just so tired of being in pain.

Codeine and tramadol were nothing, kratom isn't fully studied yet either and because of all its alkaloids and different mechanisms of action it is absouletly a substance that needs to be used with caution, and here you are recommending it like it's just CBD. Stop being a clown CBD, Cannabis in general and kava ate all great for pain and won't fuck you up---signed from someone who used kratom daily for 3 years after kicking hard opioids, that shit is dirty.

That's why it's best to get the IR high strength stuff. " Roxi's " and " Oxy " and all that good stuff. Perc's and Vicodin are like childs play when it comes to opiates.

Shelliiaa Ellison I was prescribed vicodin to help with the pain from a broken leg (but I didn't take it), but I took percocet to help with some post-surgery pain.

Percocet is a name-brand medication while Oxycodone is the generic version of it (same thing goes for Hydrocodone versus Vicodin) but they are in fact the same exact thing. I've been prescribed Oxycodone for many years now but a few times the pharmacy has had to fill my Rx using Percocet because there were times the generic (Oxycodone) wasn't available but they are indeed the same drug and both have Tylenol in them :)

I took Valiums for half a year and then I got a prescription for lorazepam then I stopped talking any type of pill and didn't had any kind of withdrawals. Two years ago I had back pain and I was prescribed Neurontin/Gabapentin 400 mg 3x/day for almost a year and stopped cold turkey. The withdrawals I got from that shit made me think I was going to die, it was like the worst type of flu you can ever imagine but worse.
Thought it said vicodin uppercut, then House is just uppercutting vicodin into his mouth haha, now when if ever I require to take medications, I'ma uppercut them into my mouth, like this supercut.
