Hey! I was so inspired by your videos so…, I bought a display model 3D Fan from Spirits Halloween. I came across this buy from a zone manager of Spirits that happened to have an extra 3D Fan from one of the stores left overs. It works and plays Spirit’s 2022 video. I’m able to use my cellphone and the app to add photos and short clip videos. The only problem is.. the tiny SD Card that came with it doesn’t have the 3D Software Player to create the 3D effects. How do I get the 3D Player Software?
The fan has to be audio compatible. One of my fans has Bluetooth to broadcast audio. The other does not. No way to sync sound on that one. Hope that helps

My big fan can use an app as well, but since all my video effects are on the PC, I use the encoding software. The software for the small fan only outputs in .bin format. There isn't an option for any other formats with that program.
any ideal where i can get the 3ds-player sotware? for some reason after pulling my fan out from storage for 3 years i cant seem to find the software i thought it was on the sd card but only bins files on on it
A great video! I have a quick question, those mp4 clips..could they be any 2D mp4 clips or they have to be special 3D mp4 only dedicated for hologram projectors?
Thank you! Any 2d clips will work. If you skip to the end of the video, the part where I talk to myself is a clip I filmed on my phone and uploaded to the fan. You DO have to run the mp4 clip through the software to allow it to be displayed on the fan. But any clip I have tried so far has worked.
I'm impressed. I've been working on my fan for days. I can't even get it to link to my tablet/phone via wifi. Apparently my fan has an internal memory plus it accepts an SD card, but it will only run the internal memory videos. It works on a 3D Magic app. Can I bring my fan to you? Any ideas?
Hi I have the same fan and software but i have the 384 bead version and i cant get my gifs or mp4s to work when i try it the same way as you any ideas?
Hello, a couple of things come to mind. The SD card you are using might not be compatible with the fan. Make sure you choose the correct model before processing the video. I am guessing you already selected the right model since you mentioned the 384 version. Is it possible you are loading the original file onto the fan and not the new file that the software creates? I have not done any .GIFs so I am unfamiliar with the compatibility. Do the pre-loaded files still work? What does the fan display when you load your new files? If you have the wifi version, I think you can load from the app and it will process and save to the SD card while it it loaded in the fan. I hope these ideas help!
Thank you for the demo, got a question about the rotating black areas where the video is "cut" out, are these only visible in the recording or can you see them just with your eyes?
Ah yes, those pesky pie slices. Totally a side effect of shutter speed on a camera. In person looks like a smooth image unless there is sudden sideways movement in the image. But most video clips are slow enough to not make a difference.
Your big fan just plays straight mp4 files? Mine seems to only play these unknown files without extensions and I am having problems getting a program to make a file that will play on it.
Hello, my fan will not play straight MP4 files. My fan came with a thumb drive that had the conversion software included. I have to process any MP4 through that software first. Otherwise, it will either play a scrambled version of the video or it will not recognize it at all. I hope this helps
Good morning, can you help me get the 3Ds player software on a laptop, im having difficulty. I downloaded a bin file but it doesn't work on my fan. Any advise would be appreciated.
The software for each of my fans came on the supplied USB drive with each. I don't know that I would be able to help with that. I believe that each rendering software is specific to the fans' model/manufacture. If you use a rendering software for another model, it's likely that the output file will not work with the fan. I would try emailing the seller of the fan to get the proper version of the software. I am sorry I was not more help than this.
I have followed these exact steps for the small fan (224), but did not get good results. After going through all of the steps in your video, I put the sd card into the fan. All it does is start spinning and lights up all of the LED's on the fan but doesn't display the image I loaded. I've tried multiple clips with the same bad results. All of the clips that came with the fan work perfectly fine though. Any suggestions?
This is tough to troubleshoot without being able to try several things in real time myself. My first thought is that the wrong fan might have been selected before rendering out. Another option is that maybe you put the original file on the SD card and not the new file that gets generated by the rendering software? Sorry for the delay. I hope this helps - or I hope that you were able to get it working before I could respond!
For the clip at the end of the video, I just filmed myself with a phone, saved the file on the PC, then ran it thru the rendering software. The other clips I purchased from AtmosFearFX.

We bought a different micro sd card and when I put files on it to play on the fan it will not recognize it. It will only play off the 3D magic app on our phones. There is no pc software to download that I have found online, I've been searching. Have you had any experience with this happening and suggestions on what to do or where we could just buy the micro sd that comes with it? The only videos I've seen are controlled by phone apps or the software that is on the original micro sd card to download. Thank you for any help or advice. We have the model SH-G65 if that helps at all.
According to the software download tab on this page www.superbholo.com/3d-hologram-fan-sh-65/ it appears they only offer a mobile app for that fan. The PC version seems to be for a different model. The 2 fans I have are not cross compatible with the rendering software. Neither fan can play a file that is placed on the SD card without first rendering it the software specific to the model. I hope this helps.
@@Krystal__moon That I am not sure about. It might have to be sent from a phone to be saved on the SD card while in the LED fan. I saw there was a 'contact' tab for the company. They may be able to answer that better. One quick test I would do to see if its specific to the SD card is copy a file from the original SD to another SD and see if that plays. If it does, then the file has been treated to be compatible with the fan.
Great video! I have MissYou 45cm 17.7inch projector fan with 4 blades. My projector does not take *.bin files. All projector files that came on it don't have extension. It won't read bin files from my SD card. I don't know what to do :(
Thank you and thanks for watching! Gosh, this could be tricky. Both of my fans are by MissYou and they need different encoding software. In Windows, do you have file extensions hidden? It might be that the 17.7" needs the encoding to be .mpg not .bin. My 16.5" fan uses the 3Ds-Player software (came with the fan 16.5" fan) The 20.5" fan uses Media Recode (came with the 20.5" fan) Make sure to select the correct model when encoding - that will definitely be a factor in properly displaying. That is a great question - the software I use was included on the SD card. I was able to contact the seller and get a copy of the SD card content sent to me as I had a error during a copy of the card and it corrupted. From where did you buy it? And what model number?
@@niyyi8591 What brand and model number do you have? I don't think its a universal software. I have to use 2 different programs depending on which fan I am using.

I have the single small fan, but when I open it on my computer, it doesnt show the actual program to use. Is it because im using windows 11? It says only for windows 10! whats the solution to this?
I'm not sure of it's a Win11 issue or not. For mine, I do not directly connect the PC to the fan. I run a piece of software that came on an SD card with the fan. Then I copy the rendered files onto an SD card that gets inserted into the fan.
Do you know of anyway to do this with a Mac? Or without a PC? I had found a few that say PC only or app. Does the app do the same thing as the software? I love this idea for the heart/12 ft skeleton but only have a Mac. Just wondering if I have any options.
Without running a Windows emulator like Parallels, I do not think there is a way to use this with a Mac. The app was kinda limited but it will let you browse the folder on the fan and select any of the content you have loaded on the SD card. It will also let you upload pics, but I don't remember if you can edit the pic in the app. The app also lets you create text banners in different shapes, like sphere or cylinder. The app does not have the same video formatting tools that the PC program has. I hope this helps.
@@intocoasters I hadn’t heard of an emulator before now. Thank you for the details and the clarification on the software vs app. Very helpful!! Thank you so much! Happy Halloween! 🎃
@@TriciaToker There are others as well. I used Parallels in the past. I don't know if it's fair to call it an emulator - it's more of a virtual PC 'session' that can run on the Mac. That is an excellent question! I really don't know. But now I want to experiment. I think the longest clip I used was 110 seconds. This will be a fun question to explore
Quick question..if I elevate the fan little bit higher..will the 3d hologram still be visible or do you have to look at it at an eye level in order to work ?
Elevating the fan will work just fine. I used 2 of them in the haunt, both of them mounted around 7 foot from the floor. One of them was tilted toward the floor because of the prop it was attached to. The other was mounted normally. Both were quite visible. Thanks for watching!
@@ermin3963 awesome! Hopefully you're set up goes well. And don't get your fingers caught in the spinning blades. They do bite! We found out the hard way
I think it would be trial and error. Since the 2 bits of software I have only work on the fans they came with - That would be a tough thing to track down unless you know the manufacture of the fan. It might be possible to try mobile apps as there seem to be several available.
I've been trying to find out if four blades or two blades is better in image quality, on the off chance anyone can answer here let me know. Great video though, good info.
The software came on an SD card that was included with the fan. Without knowing the manufacture of the fan, it would be difficult to know what software to use.
What model fan do you have? I don't have anything set up for sharing, but I did write to the company I bought the fan from when I accidentally deleted the folder. They emailed me the zip.
I love the video Thank you It was way simpler than the one they preloaded into the SD card I hate to ask but I ultimately bought it for my son for his gaming room for the pokémon video they had but it didn't come preloaded with it Do you know how to get a link for it
Thank you! My first thing to try would be to email them. Both of these companies I bought the fans from have been good with correspondence. If that doesn't work, it may be possible to find a Pokemon clip on youtube and download it. Then convert it with the software that comes with your fan. I hope this helps!
I think it's possible. Only real limitation I know of at the moment is the size of your memory card. So yeah, I bet you could! I'm curious to try it now.
Some are files that I pulled from a DVD the others are digital downloads from AtmosFEAR FX. They have a ton of great content. (I am not sponsored by them, just really like their videos)
I got some fans from Spirit Halloween and would love to learn more about them. There are some existing files on the sd card. I have no clue the fan brand or software for the fan. Would love to chat with you but not clog up your You tube
I saw those at Spirit. They are a larger diameter than mine - very cool. Are there any folders or zip files on the SD card? Maybe an EXE file? I know - it feels sketchy to run unknown files... but that is how they were provided on my 2 fans. And the programs are not cross compatible (unfortunately). If you remove the SD card and turn the fan on, does it give a notice like "SD card missing" or something? It might have the manufacturer name there. Mine had a decal on the side of the base with the model number
I'm not entirely sure. But I suspect certain models have the ability to know they are part of a matrix. I imagine you assign an ID to each fan, and the video signal is separated out and played only by each fan that it's designated to. I don't have any experience with multiple fan displays, so I'm just guessing.
@@intocoasters okay so you would be talking about a sort of CANBUS system. If there would be a way to directly send image to these fans this would be very posible! Maybe even something as a diy idea!

That is an excellent question. I do not believe so, at least not the models I have. That answer is assuming that you want to trigger a video clip and have lights synchronize to it. I want to integrate with Light-O-Rama myself. But to do so, I would need a fan that takes HDMI input. The starting cost on those are around two grand. I don't want to do it that badly, LoL
@@intocoasters Naaa, you are right. I'm a big enthusiast, but not a big spender. I want to keep things cheap. I was thinking may be with a Raspberry Pi. Where did you saw the one with the HDMI? By the way, I'm using the F80 from Giwox and I'm looking for the stand that holds 3 fans for human size.
@@SNFVN I did a Google search for LED fan HDMI. It brought me links to AliExpress, Amazon, and a couple of companies that offer the fans. The absolute cheapest was $1500US. And it wasn't clear if it actually had HDMI or not.

@@intocoasters Excellent! Thank you so much. My fan is arriving today. I can't wait!
@@ermin3963 awesome! Hopefully you're set up goes well. And don't get your fingers caught in the spinning blades. They do bite! We found out the hard way
@@intocoasters Haha OK. I will watch my step. Thanks for the heads up 😀 Unfortunately my package has been delayed. Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow.
Quick question what is the small fan brand and size?
I'm not sure of the model, but here is the link to what I purchased.

Thank you
Hey , were to look for cool video's for the fan ?
I use AtmosFX video clips mostly. I have made my own with a black background. I imagine RUclips would be a good source for ideas as well.
I bought one of these second hand anyone have a idea of how to get ahold of the software to upload custom designs?
I think it would be trial and error. Since the 2 bits of software I have only work on the fans they came with - That would be a tough thing to track down unless you know the manufacture of the fan.
It might be possible to try mobile apps as there seem to be several available.
hi do you have a link for the small fan software
Hello. Sadly, I do not. The software came on a USB drive included with the fan. I did not download from another source.
Hallo, ich habe so eine gekauft und frage ist wo kann ich software herunterladen wo ich selber so etwas machen kann! gratis oder mit gebühren! Danke
Vielen dank!
atmosfx.com/
This is where I get most of my video clips.
I've been trying to find out if four blades or two blades is better in image quality, on the off chance anyone can answer here let me know. Great video though, good info.
could you please post a link, I don't know where to download this software from.
The software came on an SD card that was included with the fan. Without knowing the manufacture of the fan, it would be difficult to know what software to use.
Where we can find these apps?
Does anyone have a credible website to download the 3D video software? I got the fan second hand, so I don't have it
Without knowing the manufacturer, that would be hard to match software to the fan.
@@intocoasters that's a shame. I was hoping the 3D software worked across the fans. Back to the drawing board
can you share these content on google drive?
Can you share the software you use for the larger fan?
What model fan do you have?
I don't have anything set up for sharing, but I did write to the company I bought the fan from when I accidentally deleted the folder. They emailed me the zip.
@@intocoasters I have a 224 display. Can you send a link?
Thanks
I love the video Thank you It was way simpler than the one they preloaded into the SD card I hate to ask but I ultimately bought it for my son for his gaming room for the pokémon video they had but it didn't come preloaded with it Do you know how to get a link for it
Thank you!
My first thing to try would be to email them. Both of these companies I bought the fans from have been good with correspondence. If that doesn't work, it may be possible to find a Pokemon clip on youtube and download it. Then convert it with the software that comes with your fan.
I hope this helps!
@intocoasters can you convert whole RUclips videos
Is it possible to watch a whole film on this...
I think it's possible. Only real limitation I know of at the moment is the size of your memory card. So yeah, I bet you could! I'm curious to try it now.
Where can I DL your Halloween files
I used clips from AtmosFearFX.
Where could we get video files for this?
I have seen people make one big screen from multiple fans, any idea how?
I'm not entirely sure. But I suspect certain models have the ability to know they are part of a matrix. I imagine you assign an ID to each fan, and the video signal is separated out and played only by each fan that it's designated to.
I don't have any experience with multiple fan displays, so I'm just guessing.
@@intocoasters okay so you would be talking about a sort of CANBUS system.
If there would be a way to directly send image to these fans this would be very posible! Maybe even something as a diy idea!
@@joajaimemarti4556 I am so terrible t programming, I wouldn't know where to begin. I imagine it could be mapped to multiple devices, like PCs with multiple monitors. But the fans that accept HDMI live input is more expensive that I am will to tinker with.
But I am sure it is possible.
@@intocoasters that could be an idea to!! Try conecting one directly to hdmi😂
Is there a back to the future shark hologram?
LOL! That would be great! I don't have that clip (and I don't know how to animate or I would make one) but I bet someone has recreated it.
@@intocoasters Haha yeah, someone definitely should :-) I would love to have it for my 80s party.
Can a hologram fan be integrated with XLIGHTS?
That is an excellent question. I do not believe so, at least not the models I have. That answer is assuming that you want to trigger a video clip and have lights synchronize to it.
I want to integrate with Light-O-Rama myself.
But to do so, I would need a fan that takes HDMI input. The starting cost on those are around two grand. I don't want to do it that badly, LoL
@@intocoasters
Naaa, you are right.
And it wasn't clear if it actually had HDMI or not.
hi would like to build it from scratch.Any help is welcome :)
I'm afraid I wouldn't know the first thing about building this from scratch.
where do i find this media recode?
It should come with the fan. The software is specific to the make and model of each fan.
The software I have is not interchangeable with the 2 fans I have.
ok looking for g65trans then it didnt comre with fan but its what the manual metions@@intocoasters
I can't get it to connect to the bluetooth speaker
Only one of my fans has the ability to connect to a speaker, the other one is strictly a display only.
if any one has the 2022 and 2023 files already converted hit me up i only have the nightcrawler one already converted i took it off and put it back on works fine just cant load any new files that are not converted already
Anyway u can send some of those cool Halloween ones my way this chinese app isnt that great
I got the animations from AtmosFearFX. They have a huge library of Halloween animations!
can u send me 3d hologram video
I download videos from AtmosFearFX that work great with this device.
I can't hear you.
What?
