- TSPROF asked if I wanted one of their new knife sharpening systems. Of course, I said yes. Turns out, I had this one already but you know what they say....two is one, and one is none 🤷♂️
Check out their sharpeners here: shop.tsprof.com/
Got the Blitz 360 a few months back, love it super simple and perfect sharpening
Should I use a solution with my diamond stones?
t was great my friend. I did not think you could put that knife back together. Happy new device. I liked this video. It was Great, Thanks 👏👏👏👍👍👍👍🌷🌷🌷
I drank a shot every time I heard the word "Styrofoam." The doctor says I'll be OK.
Hahahaha!!! I think you’re doctor is wrong, no one could hold up to that many shots😆👍
😂😂😂😂👍👍
I gave a thumbs down every time I heard it
hi Jeremy. you think it desserves to buy that between $700 or $1 428?? It seems to be expensive
Knives and bicycles. I didn't think that anyone else liked the same things I did. Phil's oil is great for more than just bikes.
Right on Steve! I like bicycle more than I like knives but the two are in my top 5 human inventions by a long shot 👍 (just bought another front rack today for another bike that I don’t need, but dang…kinda needs to happen. 👍
Still want to get my hands one one of these tsprof systems.
Ah you and your fancy sharpener. Very nice. My son has that Benchmade Bugout. Pretty slick little cutter.
Nice sharpening kit.
Thank you!
phils tenacious oil is great for freehub rescuing but i use fractionated coconut oil so if im using my knife to cut food i feel a bit better about it.
Love your content brother I really appreciate all the informative videos that you put out
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that! Thanks for watching👍
Точилка из города ИЖЕВСК?
Hello Jeremy, can you tell me the Kadet model that your using in this video? I`m a knife maker in Tennessee and I have learned a lot from your videos. keep up the great work. thank you
Thanks Steve, I appreciate that! I think this is a new one called a Kadet pro but I couldn’t find info on that believe it or not. Thank you for watching and the kind words! Cheers👍
Nicely done video with detailed camera work. What is the smaller clamp that you used to hold the Bugout, and where can we get it?
Hey Jeremy, how does this sharpener compare to your sharpening wheel? Debating which one I should buy. Thanks for the awesome videos!
@Simple Little Life just wanted to follow up in case you missed this ^
Thanks :)
Your Griptilian is actually an older model. I have a Benchmade Griptilian and it has s30v Steel. and I think I may have seen other Griptilian's that we both have but in a different blade steel. I think I've seen it in the Blade HQ website.
That is interesting. Thank you for that information👍
I’ve got the higher end model with G10 handles and 20CV steel (M390 equivalent). Great pocket knife! It was mis-priced at the price for the “base model” in a store, which makes me love it even more haha
Nice
Thanks buddy! 👍
No idea much about steel. But as a kid was always told that solingen if spelled right. Was a good edge holder. Have a few bucks from them when sharpend. Enjoy your vids. Take care
Me neither. I like to read up on it but at the end of the day, I just think about steels without pronouncing hard conclusions. Thank you for watching these videos. I make them for people like you and me. Cheers 👍
My edc is the same blue Benchmade Bugout….love it! Although I’m a diehard Benchmade fan I do love my Spydercos. Just curious why you’re not a fan? If I were to send you one for in-shop box cutting duties would you give it an honest 6 month review?
Right on. I do think they are good knives but for me (and I’m an odd duck on this idea) I just don’t like the way they look. At all. I think they are an ugly knife. 100% personal opinion and I’ve had friends mock me for saying that but hey, I just don’t like seeing them. Cheers 👍
@@Simplelittlelife I completely agree with you, they are very ugly knives. Keep up the awesome content. I think I’ve watched all your videos….10 times!
Thank you so much! I appreciate it 👍
So since you have two will there be a give away....fingers crossed? Very nice video, thanks for sharing.
Thanks! Since shooting this video I’ve learned that this version is the pro version. Not sure what that means but I’ll have to set them side by side and see if I can tell any difference other than color. Cheers 👍
@@Simplelittlelife I've been debating grabbing one, wondered what the difference was between the pro and OG/Nero. Keep us posted!
My Nero arrived today. Wish the pro version would of been available. I think from their website the pro has adjustment nob to set the angle.
Cheers
How does the wicked edge compare? Do you still use it? Been considering WE but price is a bit prohibitive for me.
@@stevesweeney7892 ?
@@stevesweeney7892 ?
What was that?
Is this not a new sharpener I went to the site and they have a few that are only available for pre order and won't ship for a few weeks
Yeah I’m not 100% sure what the difference is. I’ll have to do some deep investigating and see if I can tell any differences between them.
What's the other knife bayou have there? A Griptilian?
Yup👍
I have a Kadet. This is a fine demonstration for knife owners, honing or resharpening a knife with an existing micro bevel.
However, for knife makers to create a new secondary/ micro bevel on this sharpener you cannot simply move the arm down (example angle only) to 20 degrees for a 20 degree bevel.
The angle of the rod resting on the blade needs to be taken into account. On a knife with no bevel it typically rests at 6 degrees when everything has been zeroed…so for a 20 degree edge then you move the arm down to 14 degrees.
Are you saying that the angle of the secondary bevel is called out based on the plane of the primary bevel as opposed to being in relation to the same zero as the origin of the primary bevel?
@@pipisugbo have you made a knife or sharpening a knife you already own?
I will trade you a box of Styrofoam for that sharpener lol. I love my bugout, in the process of making carbon fiber scales for it. Thanks for sharing.
Hahahaha! I think that’s a hard no. 😆. Yeah it’s a sweet blade but dang, making carbon fiber scales for it? That’s next level radness! Nice work👍
Giveaway!! :) :)
I'd love too but man those are a nightmare to run. Then the hundreds (literally hundreds of compliant emails and messages from people who did not win. I honestly would love to give this away, but I hate the process and the price I have to pay listening to cry-babies. It's too bad because they ruin it for everyone. Oh well. Might give it to some random deserving person locally. Cheers 👍
@@Simplelittlelife gotcha!!!
I liked Spyderco, then I got myself a Benchmade….. the spyderco in in the drawer the benchmade is in the pocket!! Plus who like try to get a Delica back together, pain in the backside!!!
