My brother once removed the reasonably expensive to build,roughly160 bhp 2.0 out of his Mk1 Escort while it was having a cage fitted and a repaint and then fitted it to his shitbox,orange b reg twin wheel transit truck,the front of the wings and the bottoms of the doors were made from that striped blue, stringed tape made for packaging and it was a proper,proper mess inside,even the instrument cluster had copious amounts of crap inside it,but it went quite well. I remember that while trying to start it he caused a massive backfire which completely blew open from end to end,the front box of the brand new exhaust he'd just fitted to it 😂. 300 hp in a what is essentially an empty box will be lively. Especially on 8/10 ply van tyres😊.

Mk2 transits stop by 1985, that's van wasn't built in 87. Aside from that, nice video and swap!
