I grew up seeing F4s and Intruders coming from Clark Air Base skimming probably 50-100ft above coconut trees doing their practice runs. Would be nice to get F15s but the Philippines won't be able to afford these especially with severe and deep-rooted graft and corruption in the government. If the AFP are already opting to buy the cheaper Saabs because they can't afford the much cheaper F16s, why tease them with these F15s?
Its F-15EX or nothing for the Philippine Air Force with complete up to date weapons and avionics. 2 squadrons will be enough especially if its armed with those bunker buster bombs used by Israel.
