It hasn't even happened! Only one person has gone so far, and that was voluntary. When the scheme is rolled out properly, it will not even be able to service the 60,000+ migrants that come in every year, let alone clear the backlog. Australia is having similar problems but not to this extent because they popped the ones landing into an unsinkable life raft with water and rations and towed them back the way they had arrived.. Took a few weeks but it almost stopped the professional smugglers entirely because migrants knew!

Simpson is right that it's just Politics but Nana is right that we, the people, have a right to know what Starmer intends to do regarding deportation. And although he may not know which other country he would prefer to deport illegal immigrants to, if he says he'd drop sending them to Rwanda he should at least say he would seek another country. Otherwise we are led to believe Labour will simply rubber stamp these people through the asylum process and make them UK citizens with high priority for housing.
