It's the same as with any other woman - she has to like you. I've dated women from various races, including two Korean women. What's ironic is that Asian women are often thought to be "reserved" and not commonly interested in dating black men. However, in both cases, they approached me first. One was a makeup artist in a mall near where I worked; she would come in regularly (and buy things too!) just to get my attention, which she admitted after I caught on and got her number. We had a good time together, but it didn't work out.
The second one liked me first on a dating app, and we also dated for some time.

In Sydney there are 1,000's of chinese students and new migrants as well as korean and many other asian nationalities settling here. In most cases the girls like to keep within their culture but there are still many girls fascinated in meeting a local guy. I think honesty and politeness is the best policy. One thing I learned the hard way when speaking to chinese women here in san diego is dont try to make myself seem superior or high class or way more intelligent by using large words. Also learned try not to talk very fast like "heywhatdoyouhaveplannedthisweekend" instead use Hi, what are you going to do this weekend"? I also learned asking questions about china or news articles showed that I had an interest in their country and culture which I noticed made them feel more comfortable talking to me. let alone being curious of what they were eating ( in a polite way from a distance not over their shoulder like an alien about to pounce on their prey). Overall, I have always related where everyone is equal in conversation and status instead of "me on mountain palace...you in lowlands village".

Thanks for the video...I have some questions for you. I work with a lot of Chinese people. They know that I'm learning Mandarin, and some even offer to introduce me to other Chinese women. So far who they've tried to set me up with doesn't seem like good choices, but I have picked up Chinese women. Both times I was speaking in English, but I do know enough to say "You're very pretty! I love you! Do you love me? Kiss me! Marry me!" So how well do you think that would work? Also, I can understand that Chinese women are like every other woman...they want to individualized. They want to feel that they stand out. So what about Asian women that know that you like ONLY Asian women? There's one that I'm a little interested in now. She knows I like Chinese women. John Anderson I can't speak for all Asian women, but for the ones I know, we are turned off by guys who ONLY date Asian women. Simply because there are so many Asian women and we're all SO DIFFERENT. MissSinglefiedd, when I am looking for someone to date, I do want them to be someone that I like to spend my time with. I do want them to be unique in their own way. I don't want some mail order bride. I do believe that dating Chinese women is just like dating women of any other race. I just think that there might be some things that might work because of their ethnicity...For instance, if I was to approach a woman from Mexico and speak to her in Mandarin, she probably wouldn't know what I was saying. But since I'm learning Mandarin, I was wondering if women from China might find that attractive that I want to learn more about their culture. This is very funny and not realistic for 2023. It is now after the pandemic. I spend countless hours meeting Asians on Facebook. Most only want to talk about investments and Crypto. If you expect to marry then you may have a big problem because many traditional Chinese will not allow their daughter to marry a Caucasian, "dog". The longest relationship that I had with a Chinese girl all started with me sending her an email on a dating website that started with ni hao. On our first date, this very beautiful woman, that had tons of emails, said mine stood out because I started it showing that I read her profile, where she listed that one of the languages she spoke was Chinese, and knew something about her culture. Another girl, I started out by talking about her dogs. Another about her music tastes. The problem I have with dating coaches is that they make blanket statements that they feel applies across the board. A better thing to say is - know your audience. Don't assume she's from a particular Asian country and say hello in that language. But if you know, like I did, it's ok to show her you took some time to learn something about her country. Are there some that will do it simply based on their Asian fetish? Of course. But once again, don't make a blanket statement that anybody that knows anything about an Asian country automatically has the fever.
