so good to see mateship between drivers.
that reindler crash was so scary
Those rollcages are absolutely incredible feats of engineering, my god
And the comradery shown by most drivers as well
I remember the Reindler crash. He almost missed the Winton round due to the burns to his face and hands.
We had Paul radisich in the UK during the 1990s driving for ford and later Peugeot...I think most folk always like Paul...he came across as the quiet guy..but a really good racer with a great attitude to his fellow competitors...one of the good guys👍
A BTCC Champion that never was sadly.
I can’t believe that man grabbed that extinguisher and started walking instead of running
@@Stevie-J S
Are you talking about the guy at 1:47 ? Because he took a stride, looked to his left to make sure no other cars were coming in and then started running.
Paid by the hour🤣
Took me back a bit hearing Barry Sheene’s voice.
@gcm747
I always enjoy hearing Barry.
I still can't believe Karl's car exploded like that!
Brad Jones rolled twice in 2 race meetings. How unlucky is that!
After this roll-over, Brad Jones had put his number on the underneath of his car too. Was visible the next roll-over!
@@brucemibus9523 Brad Jones is a saint. Every year his cars cop so much damage and get involved in so many incidents yet he continues to battle on. He deserves more success.
It's an what year all the crash not compted 2011
Sorry, but start line fireball was EASILY the most significant crash at Waneroo/Barbagello!
Early 80s we use to wag school and bus it to watch Brocky etc do practice laps at Wanneroo
We have one to add!
2:30 this is one of many reasons that the medical car follows the cars around for the first lap
Bery poor fuel safety cell, they should never explode like that someone in the team cut corners prob for weight no rear crash bar or cage bar me thinks
*Barbagallo
1:50
was that a land mine ???
the fuel tank blew up cause the car behind hit the stalled car
My Home Track les goooo.
Ps were are the race 6,7,8 and 9 highlights for Melbourne
Not sure we're going to get races 6-9, mate, because of the F1 tie-up . They hold the media rights to that whole weekend, not just the F1 part of it.
@@Caleferink1 right spot on
2:04. How dozy was that marshal? His first concern should have been the driver. It was quite clear that the driver was alight, even though it was not visible. And he should have ran instead of strolling.😲
Actually, he first checked for any danger that might come from incoming cars and then jogged to the burning car
Super. 💙 T.E.N.
Estas carreras son espectaculares, pero hay muchísimos accidentes. 👍👍🇪🇦🇦🇷
I really felt for Scott Pye. Typical Kelly brother maneuver......
@Garrett the kelly brothers are just unlucky. Obviously driving as poorly as they do/did deliberately would be spotted by the driving standards...
As a 22 year old back in the early nineties I used to go to that race track and eat my lunch watching the police train pursuit driving.
1:01 drink bottle? What?😂
yeah. It's incredibly physical sport, they get dehydrated easily, they have a tube fed to the helmet
Damn I miss working with the v8 Supercars at wannerro worked there for 6 years ❤ worked as starter, 2IC Pitlane and co driver safety car 😍😍😍
I think these guys didn't get the memo that you don't win the race on the 1st lap
When that car exploded I was shocked, I wasn’t there but I can just imagine the horror of the driver. And the fact that wanneroo raceway is close to my house to!
Think it’s total bs Paul checked Brad before the emergency services did as he was walkin away

Dear Australia
Your Nascar is the best in the world. Better then Germanys even!
There not Nascars mate
Nice comment mate, technically it’s called V8 Supercars. And the German Nascar is DTM (I think that’s the racing class you mean)
V8 Supercars. Not NASCAR
Pengen sih gitu
GOODNESS GRACIOUS
THAT,'S GOING TO TRIGGER THE SAFETY CAR
Where the F is wanneroo

Staff arriving at 1:20 approx. Ehhh?

Jack Daniels car was evil ,
Gare per vecchietti 🤣
I can't believe it takes so long in Australia for any kind of emergency help to get to the driver I'm surprised more drivers don't die over there in NASCAR or anything over here emergency crew is there in less than a minute❗️
I have seen bigger crashes on the I-25. XP
Debris
Rubbish
Garbage 🤣
@@walter9724 rubbish!
Well, most of those were pretty lame.
Come back to me when you race at 150 mph inches from your own death
Emphasis on _most_
until your in one, wouldnt say any were lame.
How many years have you been racing v8 supercars?
Dumbo, have u done any racing? 100 % not so move back to moms basement
You call these crashes ? They just look like lame fender benders
So your calling the fireball a lame crash?
“Biggest”
if you race in cars that the sanctioning body decided were perfectly safe by wrapping the fuel cell with electrical wiring and components and no steel impact plates then you just dont care uf you or someone else dies during a race...and neither does corporate headquarters
