Yay! I owe my LIFE to your alma mater! I had an aortic aneurysm I could not have known about until it had grown large enough to start tearing my aorta open. Surgeons at GWU Hospital identified whaft was happening to me within an hour of arriving at the emergency room, and took my 20% chance of dying on the operating table and 50% chance of dying 12 years later and helped me on to thus far living 18 years healthily. (I did also earlier temp for awhile for a GWU professor of Constitutional Law...). Now I'm extra-glad I found you and subscribed last week.

And there are partisans all over the country (not just two political camps, but on a wide area of topics and options) who will actively lobby other people to boycott a certain company or person.
It is the first amendment and free market at work as they claim it should be.

Logical inconsistency is the core of modern conservatism.
That is how they can argue that "Small Government" means controlling how you are allowed to live your life, what you can read, teach your kids, who you can have a relationship with, who you can marry, what you're allowed to do in your own bedroom, what control you are allowed over your own body, whether you can control your own fertility.
Government overreach only applies when governemt wants to make your life better, not when it wants to make it worse. That direction has no limits.
