They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. What may seem an eyesore to one person, just might be a beautiful masterpiece to another. There are places beloved by communities and protected in the hearts of those that hold their memories of its tattered hallways and decayed rooms dear. This is the way that we feel when we explore places that have been forgotten by time. Left to rot and decay and only holding the silent whispers of what once was. We know that there are people out there with malicious intent toward these places that we venture into. It saddens us when we see the filth and destruction they leave behind, but we want to make something very clear… We are explorers and lovers of history. We in no way, shape or form condone the criminal activities that take place in the historical decaying places that we document. Social media has brought many of these places to the limelight, but the intention is to show the beauty and mystery of abandonment. Not to invite trouble. Trouble will find its way on its own and to say that the peaceful documentation of these places leads to criminal activity, is mind blowing. We have met so many amazing fellow explorers in our travels and are so thankful and humbled by the positive responses we have received. We know that this type of exploration is not for everyone…many people don’t understand why we find such beauty in decay, we can only explain it as a beautiful journey into the past. We invite you to watch our explores and come along as we visit these amazing places. As for the criminal activity that occurs, those individuals are responsible for their own actions. It is a terrible part of our society, but reality, nonetheless. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for loving this location just as much as we do. We hope that through this video, the memories held within will remain.
J&M Explorations I have many beautiful memories at Scott’s Tower as a young adult . When I saw your video it brought me back to my young adult years . Happy memories.
Karen Bernier Awww.... this comment makes our hearts happy!!🥰. Thank you so much for watching and for letting us know! Feel free to share it with anyone you think might be interested!❤️
Hey went there as a kid. Stopped being used sometime in the 90's there was a pool up there too. I mostly had picnics down the hill. Probably by where u parked. You make me want to go see these places again!
I loved the memory. I lived in Massachusetts from 1995 - 2013 I have been to that tower. Very cool stuff. New England is a cool place, with a lot hidden gems 💎 to explore. Way too many too jot down. New England definitely left a foot print on my heart ❤
Thank you so much for coming along with us! We hope that you will get a chance to check out some of our other videos! We explore so many cool places in this region. Take care and have a wonderful holiday weekend!!☺️☺️
This is so fantastic, what a tower! And what an epic fantasy in the forest - THAT HAIR - lol, thank god for stairs up to that queen! 👑 ❤️❤️ This was so pretty! Random stone steps in the woods: one of my most absolute favorite things. ❤️❤️
This place was small, but a ton of fun!!! The stairway was super sketchy, but we made it!! Lol. Thank you for watching our crazy shenanigans!!! Miss youuuu!!!!🥰🥰
Oh man the way Marcel says "Oh crap" when he can't reach the hair was awesome, that whole scene was just hilarious. I love the silliness you two bring in your videos. The filming of the climb up the stairs was actually making me dizzy. It had a found footage feel to it. Definitely took some bravery climbing up I'll give you that. Thanks for bringing us along..
Hey Guys.....OMGoodness....you did it!!! Not that I had a doubt!! Lol.... I so love getting to go along with you...you make me laugh and smile...and I'm in "aw" of you both!! Thank you !!!❤✌🙂
Hey guys, This was fun!!! Glad y'all made it to the top! Loved the whole "let down your hair" bit; very cute! And great drone footage at the end! Take care, Valerie.
Hey J&M! This was great, I enjoyed this gem of a journey to Scott Tower! Very colorful and it definitely had a creepy vibe to it... Thank you so much for taking us along! See you on the next exploration!
Dave Rondinone Thank you, Dave! It was a little nerve-racking, but we are happy that we made it to the top! The view was worth the anxiety for sure! Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to comment!
Ahhh Did you say you're moving in together? Congratulations, I wish you only love and happiness for your future! I would have gotten stuck at the missing stair, I'd probably still be standing there!!!
@@JMExplorations hahahaha maybe but coming back down to a missing stair? Once as a teenager, I spent a few hours in a tree I went up but I had to wait until one of my friends came by and he got me down, epic fail! If he hadn't walked by I'd still be sitting there hahahaha. Something about looking down, same with ladders.
You guys are awesome! Love to see a couple in love doing some exploring together. Sorry to see so much tagging done on that amazing tower, but what a sight anyway. But I will say Jennifer, I'm right there with you when it comes to climbing those steps; and honestly, I'm so scared of heights that I wouldn't be able to do it without my knees shaking. You guys take care and thanks for sharing it with us. Stay well and bless! Kevin, MN
KEVIN'S SPIRIT COMMUNICATION & RESEARCH thank you very much!!! We just love spending time together and it so happens that we both LOVE exploring!!! Stay safe out there! :)
Jennifer and Marcel 👋 oh how I absolutely loved this adventure! Awesome location SO worth climbing those stairs. Marcel, you cracked me up "oh, crap!" Then the culmination of all your efforts gave me a tear. That was SO sweet 😢 ❤❤ (a heart for you both)
I live not too far from here and there is all kinds of needles on the ground also 😔. I stopped going here as a young child because of all the gross graffiti and needles .
J&M Explorations I have been to MT Tom many times hiking with my dogs . But keeping an eye out for poisonous snakes . MT Tom is a beautiful place . You need to go to Vermont up near MT Snow area . This is much prettier and peaceful place to go hiking. Go to Wilmington VT it is a cute little place to eat good food and shop too .
I love scott tower. Great place. Wayyyyy more graffiti there now than when i saw it.. what a shame. Beautiful piece of history and incredible stonework.

Marcel I am totally disappointed in you. You had the perfect opportunity to scare the sh*t out of Jennifer and didn't take it while climbing the stairs. Just playing. 😂😂 It would have been funny. The part with the hair was cute. 👍🤣 Nice find. Stay safe and you guy's always get a thumbs up on the videos from me. Marcels voice makes me want to sleep. It's very calming.
You think that tower is scary to climb you should see the astoria column in Astoria OR it has a metal staircase and it's a lot taller ontop of a mountain you can see Washington State and almost to the Pacific Ocean out the Columbia River.

Yankee Clipper thank you!! It's been on our list for a while and we finally got there!!!
I last visited Scott's Tower during the mid-1980's, when you could still drive right up to it. It's a crumbling ruin now.
Yeah, we definitely saw the wear and tear on it! 😢
