lol I was going to say, why not embed all three magnets...then you come back. ;) Love this idea. I've seen a few tutorials and have already ordered my supplies! Also, I was going to fill my lemon wedge with my burnt hot glue (since it was yellow after burning for a few days in the gun). Glad to see I wasn't the only one who felt like the lemons, oranges, limes, etc., needed some filling to enhance them! I'll be trying different ideas, but was also thinking of using epoxy tinted with yellow. That could take some time to dry, but I'm gonna try and see. Then maybe I could pre-fill some if the prototype comes out ok. lol Thanks for the tutorial!!!
Question: is the UV Light coming on automatically when you push the things under it as it appears in the video or are you turning it on off camera and then showing us?
so I had ordered the same molds. I have 20 0z straight skinny tumblers and the resign does not just fit in. it needs to be pushed in. I even popped out the slider for the mouth piece. and if I get the magnets in the front down pops up in back. any tips?
It sounds like the mold is too big for the lid. If it's off by only a small amount, maybe try sanding the edge down a bit. Depending on how deep your lid is, maybe try thicker magnets
I'm so sorry. I didn't see this comment. I used a 2 part epoxy to fill the coaster mold. When you mix the 2 parts correctly they will start to harden on their own. I find they garden better than the UV epoxy and allow a deeper pour than the UV epoxy allows. UV epoxy has a fast cure and will set when you put it under a UV light. That is why it is used to keep the ice chips in place.
I just used standard epoxy for the mold so I let it harden for 24 hours. You can use a UV resin if you have a clear mold or a fast set resin for any mold to cut down that time.
The 2 part epoxy I use for the mold takes 24 hours to fully harden. The UV epoxy hardens after using the UV light. If you find it's still tacky, use the UV light again. Not all UV resins are created equal. I find the CCDIY hardens much faster. If you can't seem to get the UV to harden fully with the light, just pop them in the window sill or in the sun for a bit.
I found this one on Amazon. It has the various sizes and the mold dimensions. If you measure your lids you should be able to see if these fit. It looks similar to what I have. amzn.to/3ZReX9S
I just took a pair of scissors and cut. It's sounds like the lemons you have may be older so the plastic has become more fragile or perhaps different plastics used by a different company
I don't sell just the lids/lid toppers since I don't carry extra lid inventory. But if you are interested in a tumbler you can fill out the tumbler request form on my website www.lovelylouloudesigns.com
Very thorough and a great design!
Tinfoil also works under uv lamps to get the all around cure.
Awesome! Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a try :)
I did not know you could cut the slices!!! 🤩 This doubles the dollar AND product!!!! Oh great gravy!!! Thank you!!!
Lol you're very welcome!
I really appreciate the honesty you share every difficulty you have been through , very useful and highly appreciated 👍🥰
Love this

Brilliant tutorial, as always!
Thank so much Roxy! 🖤
Yes🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤ this is pure talent. Yes ppl maybe surprised how
Much the rhinestone tumbler cost to make so id keep it as well.
Thank you so much❤️
Another awesome tutorial!!
Thank you! I'm sorry for the very delayed response. I'm only just seeing this comment now.
So cute!! Thank you for sharing!
You're welcome 😊
Very detailed video! Nice design. I have a tumbler that has a silicone top, can i make a topper for a silicone top?
Silicone would be a challenge. The resin won't stick to it
This is a great tutorial. Thank you so much 😊
You're very welcome! Thank you for watching 😊
Thank you for this! 🤗

Hahaha yes that tutorial you definitely saw my own learning curve 🤣😂
Maybe a small mirror under your UV cure thing would eliminate the need to flip the piece and do it again. Just a thought.
That's a good idea!
Have you done a 40oz - Stanley Dupe lid? If so, would you do it the same fashion?
I have not. I looked the lid up and if it's the same one I saw then it doesn't look like it would work because of all of the moving parts
What was the cup rotating thing?
Question: is the UV Light coming on automatically when you push the things under it as it appears in the video or are you turning it on off camera and then showing us?
Usually it turns off and on automatically. Sometimes it didn't trust the auto on/off so I had to push the button.

Do you know when the coaster mold will be ready for selling?
I'm not sure. She is trying to add it to the site today but her site is giving her issues
Where can we get a clamp/vice like that? I didn't see it listed
Sorry about that, here's the link amzn.to/48CQeuL
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE 2 RESINS THAT UR USING? SORRY IM NEW AT THIS

How long do you let the epoxy mold sit to harden?
I just used standard epoxy for the mold so I let it harden for 24 hours. You can use a UV resin if you have a clear mold or a fast set resin for any mold to cut down that time.
I have the pink molds bit they do not fit my tumbler tops. Where are you getting from your tumblers from?
I get my tumblers from DAHT Merchandise
Woh!
Thank you 😊
So how long it takes for the epoxy to dry?
The 2 part epoxy I use for the mold takes 24 hours to fully harden. The UV epoxy hardens after using the UV light. If you find it's still tacky, use the UV light again. Not all UV resins are created equal. I find the CCDIY hardens much faster. If you can't seem to get the UV to harden fully with the light, just pop them in the window sill or in the sun for a bit.
Any idea when the silicone molds will be available?
I have updated the tutorial to include silicone molds. I am so sorry for the very delayed reply. I am only just seeing this now.
I have had a problem with my magnets pulling out of the uv resin. maybe my magnets are to strong?
It's possible. Are you using enough of the UV resin?
What size is ur mold?
The one I have has various sizes. Unfortunately the supplier I got it from no longer carries them.
@@LovelyLouLouDesigns awww... ok.. thank you so much.

@@LovelyLouLouDesigns I just put it in my cart... lol Thank you so much...
@@Watch_Over_Me you're very welcome!
Can you hot glue first then uv resin
I've never tried it, but as long as it's clear it would be worth trying to find out!
Use alcohol to wipe away the sticky/matte looking stuff, it won’t hurt anything. It’s what we do in the salon for gel polish.
Awesome. I'll try that. Thanks! 🖤
How do you cut the lemons?? Every time I try they just crack and break in all kinds of pieces
I just took a pair of scissors and cut. It's sounds like the lemons you have may be older so the plastic has become more fragile or perhaps different plastics used by a different company
How do we order one from you?
I don't sell just the lids/lid toppers since I don't carry extra lid inventory. But if you are interested in a tumbler you can fill out the tumbler request form on my website www.lovelylouloudesigns.com
Where can we get the ice from?
The ice I used is from Em & Kat Glitter Factory. It is coming to her website very soon
@@LovelyLouLouDesigns ok. Thank you
Oh my gosh I almost died when you snapped that piece in without putting in that last magnet 😢
😂🤣
Tried to order plastic tweezers,Amazon has them but everytime I make a selection it states they can't be shipped to my address.LOL
Oh no! Amazon.com will have them too. I'm assuming you are in US
Let your daughter come first, we can wait… those minutes with her are gone now. We are not the important ones.
