- This video showcases some of the sights & sounds that can be found at the Central Coast Land Cruiser's "Turf-n-Surf" event. This was the 8th Annual Turf-n-Surf held & filmed on November 1st through the 3rd, 2019.
Formerly called Surf n Turf, and organized by PismoJim Brantley, this new series of events are now referenced as Turf-n-Surf. We celebrated the rugged reliable Land Cruiser & other Toyota 4wd trucks with a fun-filled weekend at the Oceano Dunes SRVA in Pismo, California - it was truly an epic Toyota Beach Party!
We enjoyed wheeling the dunes and socializing with other Land Cruiser enthusiasts. This event has always been a classic California-style beach party & bonfire so if you're thinking about coming next time, bring your family & friends.
Activities included camping on the beach, wheeling through 1,500 acres of sand dunes, Friday Night Meet & Greets, a Saturday High Noon Poker Run, a Saturday Night Lighted Cruiser Parade; and on Sunday we enjoyed a perfect day of relaxing on the California coast. Turf-n- Surf is always FREE!
There are no fees or formal registration aside from the normal Park fees. All you have to do is SHOW UP!

Pretty much around that exact time. But no telling if it will ever happen again.
Does anyone know if they still have this?
This was the last one that happened to our knowledge… mostly because Ç0v1ď happened the next year and then they closed oceans dunes to public access and have since limited over 50% of the park. Friends of oceano dunes is fighting the good fight to try and get the land back to the public but the coastal commission there have been trying to shut down this park permanently for years so it’s a HUGE bummer. If you can, support “friends of oceano dunes” to help keep this park open for our kids.

When is the next meet ??
Probably never... they have been trying to shit down pismo for good and this year they close. It just recently opened after being closed since March but still no overnight camping.
