My son was diagnosed with autism. It is a journey and I try to see the good and positive in everything. Your perspective on this is greatly appreciated. I feel like God is teaching me through this journey with him. He doesn't give us more than we can bare, and so if he's given me this task for my life, he knew I was strong enough to endure to good, bad and the ugly times.

Just cause I don't show up, or say no thank you, or place boundaries, it's now a bad thing... I'm just trying to work on not letting ppls hurt and pain be projected on me, as well as control me. Thank you for sharing about your seasons of disconnection from God. I feel so embarrassed in my season of confusion about the Bible, confusion about my identity in The Lord. I feel scared of damnation and scared of backpedaling because of my curiosity and desire for more than just blind faith. Obviously i need prayer lol..but i just pray God will be straightforward with me. That i wont have to live solely on blind faith. I just want to see things for myself instead of taking the words or stories from someone else. I just need God to show me, that my specific life matters. Praise God and thanks Megan for giving us a space to listen and grow.
I love the advice about being a wife. The Bible is the best book for marriage advice. Or marriage books rooted in the Word of God. Marriage is something that is beyond human understanding. Which is why God created it and gives us wisdom for it in every season. Something as essential as “Forgive erdayyy and forget it.” We need God for that type of love. He teaches us how to be the person for the spouse He calls us to love and serve. Having a solid relationship with God is amazing advice.
