Megan I would love to hear your thoughts and advice about going through moments where it feels like you can’t hear God’s voice even when you’re asking for it. I’ve often wondered whether he’s always speaking and I just can’t hear or if he intentionally allows me to not hear. What should I do in that situation to not feel abandoned? Is there something I should specifically be aware of that’s causing this??? Tips to stay strong in my faith etc… Would love to know your thoughts. Thank you for continuing this journey.
I am so glad to see you persevering and accepting God’s plan for you. I’m going through a new season in my life and when you said prepare for anything and know who the enemy is really hit hard !
Dealing with the spirit of offense
Idk if y’all feel it but we’re definitely in the middle of a shift where God is putting us in uncomfortable situations to bring out something new. Your increased dependency on God in this season will result in a deeper relationship with God. In this season it feels like you’re being isolated but you’re not being isolated you are set apart for Jesus. Keep pushing ❤

And to clarify when God is trying to shift you into new and you won’t move you’re going to feel uncomfortable, irritable, and agitated everyday until you’re obedient. God is calling us into deeper relationship, deeper dependency, deeper intimacy so whatever is in next season for us we will be prepared. We have to abide in Him to hear His instructions. Seek Him while He may be found.

Definitely agree!! It feels so weird and uncomfortable and most definitely requires TRUE dependence on God.

This is my observation. It looks like God gave two incredible women an assignment and they both were afraid to do it alone. Doing it together worked for a little while, but instead of hyping each other up to be strong alone, they got comfortable together. Then, God made it so that they both had to be obedient in standing alone. I don't think this was easy for either of them. If it had been neither of them would speak of fear in this season. We often look at not being in the same room with someone as being alone. They are not alone. They are in the same season at the same time, just in different locations. God is speaking through both of them and they have slightly different audiences. It's up to them who have an ear to hear what God is saying through either one of them. I can see that God's presence is evident in and with both of them.

I have never watched a KFS episode & I have no idea who Megan is outside of oh, her & B are friends. I never followed B & didn’t know their history or recent story.
I don’t know how this came in my feed but babyyyyyyyy clearly God loves me because:
1. I am reading the SAME devotional right now & I had to same sentiments, man this is short & sweet but I want more.
2. I have lost SO many close people next to me in the last year & it has hurt my soul SO badly. I can’t explain it & wish it on no one.
3. I too was walking in to the new this year & BAM 💥 SMACKED IN THE FACE as I completed my doctorate this summer, HELL broke loose! 😭
4. I have been having such a time with God & dedicating my WHOLE life, not parts. I lean in when it gets tough & I am learning this is my discerning & growing in perseverance season because my DIFFERENCE is needed in this world. The devil big mad & I need to stewart this differently.

There's definitely a shift happening because I understand everything she is saying.I am currently going through my isolation phase and like she said it's really beautiful, painful and so freeing....I'm learning about myself,how to treat people, my purpose and all the things and people who God had placed in my journey before I began my isolation...may God be with all of us❤🕯

Just started following, thank you for sharing your testimony. I'm going through the wilderness right now, and I'm still married but it has not been good for a long time. I have the same issues and I'm struggling. My anxiety is through the roof all I can do is seek God. This has been so encouraging and helpful. Thank you.

There has always been something about Megan that I have been drawn tooo , it’s the intellectual, deep, thoughtful, amazing, passionate person. This is a full read. You described my post divorce testimony precisely. Seek the Lord in every season. Keep a praise, prayer and song in your heart and on your lips and get in that Word. Be honest with yourself and be honest and obedient to God’s Word and to what Holy Spirit is saying. Protect yourself (body, mind, spirit, children,money) at all times and refrain from acting on impulses. Proverbs 3:5-6

I recently signed my divorce papers after ending a 10yr marriage and being separated for 5yrs. I never thought there was light at the end of the tunnel and would cry out to God asking, “When is my morning!” I’m here to shout it from the rooftop that I’m finally seeing my morning.
While you’re riding the waves just know weeping may last for a night BUT joy comes in the morning ( Psalm 30:5)!

What God has shown me that sometimes the one who isn't prideful, boastful, or in constant need to be the center of attention is the vessel that he will use. That wasn't heaviness. To me that was a burden of Christ calling. People see good and call it evil n vice versa. I always saw her as being unapologetic about her faith and walk, not trying tip toe or be in and of the world. Called to be set apart, but she wanted her friend to be the best, God bless Megan i definitely understand how she felt and how persons who are always seeking for comic and entertainment can misconstrue that as being heavy. Megan is a light and very much needed. Thats way God says He is our helper. Not man. May God continue to be glorified In Totality 🎉❤
I watched one episode of the other show because of the guest. I wasn't familiar with the format of that show so I wasn't aware that there were two hosts. I am currently going through this wilderness stage and I’ve never heard someone articulate the struggles i’m experienced as well as you did. I just recently graduated college 4 months ago, moved about 12 hours away for a new job, and I have definitely been moved into isolation in blink of an eye. My entire support system is back in Maryland and I’m in Missouri and I feel like I can’t do life alone. That feeling has been so limited and allowed me to feel so heavy and throughout my day, I get small reminders to turn to God.
If I didn’t receive anything from this podcast episode, I received the message that I need to quiet the noise and embrace this period of isolation so I can really hear what God is saying to me. I need to seek his guidance and support more than ever right now to handle the imposter syndrome from work, the insecurities within, and the strength to continue on a weight loss journey with no “gym buddies” and “accountability partners”.
I admire how vulnerable you were in this episode because just as you said, it’s an extremely difficult space to be in since everything is being ripped from underneath you. All the expectations you’ve set for yourself, your life, your relationships, all of it is gone. And now allowing yourself to hear what God has planned is a transition that no one talks about. EVER.
I will be tuning in to this podcast throughout my journey and I want to encourage you to continue. God is speaking through you and your words are exactly what a young 22-year old black woman needs to hear right now.

It's soooo much to say and unpack in this video, but just know after only watching 1 video of Jackie Perry and then this one, you are a LIGHT. It was evident then and now. God is amazing! Keep going. This era needs this!!!!!
The first episode I saw was with John Bevere.. and that led me to immediately buy the Bait of Satan. And you exposing me to him, allowed me to dive deeper into Christ because I finally understood what I had to let go of and lay at his feet, and what was still causing a block after all I had surrendered. I can not thank you enough for your obedience and just who you are in Christ. Your personality is inviting, real, raw, and I am so willing to consider. I want to go deeper with the Lord and I know I am a bit late to this show, but I believe God's timing is perfect and I am so excited to dive into all these videos!! Blessings.

1 Peter 5:8 is one of my favorite verses, it tells us to stay focus because the enemy is on the prowl like a roaring lion just ready to devour us at any moment. We have to stay focus through prayer, devotions, fasting and being obedient. Megan is definitely being obedient by following Gods commands to move forward in this direction and I am so happy for her. I love B but this gives Megan’s the solo recognition her teaching and wisdom really deserves! I instantly became a subscriber!

It's so crazy. I stopped watching your other pod cast for reason i don't need to get in to. Needless to say I was hyped to see your new venture!! New subby here, I am grateful to be witness of God's grace in your life, and also I am grateful for you sharing your story. Us mama's need other mama's to talk about when things aren't 100. So I thank Megan Ashley for being your authentic self, and sharing that with us! I know it isn't easy, but its worth it.
I def stopped watching for probably the same reasons. So glad to have her doing what she’s called to do now.

I seen a few backlash comments on instagrams and I just want to say keep in mind that Megan has been a wife and she is a mom. There is a certain level of discipline and honor that she holds herself too and to just be respectful of her journey💗

This it right here !!!!!! Lawd ! I recently took a vow of isolation from everyone except my family (hub and kids)…. I haven’t talked to my best friend in 3 weeks now. Didn’t tell her what i vowed/prayed and she hasn’t hit me not one time…. At first I was sad because I have always been there , always check in etc etc…. So anyways , God has been showing me ……. This is the season I am in - and fyi - I am a March baby - a Pisces and this has been one of the hardest years of my life

Megan, Abraham and Lot had to separate for a reason. If God separates you from something or someone God will show you later why. You are not alone Moses heard God when he was alone in the buses and God showed him how to hear his voice. Love your impact and courage ❤. Keep going Sis.

You are fine with putting your opinion out there! It's yours. I'm sure most folks in here have an opinion as well but fear the wrath bc we are supposed to be better than that? Or possibly that's negativity? Idk. But we are human beings who went on this journey with these ladies. And to have to keep our feelings in just doesn't seem fair. With that; I will say that I listened to the deleted episode and man the dynamic was clear. The dismissiveness was palpable in a real way. I felt it. I have supported these ladies from episode #1 so I heard what wasn't said. I refuse to say everything I am thinking bc what's the point but I will say that I paid attention to the history of these two and doing so, I know exactly what this is. Good luck to this young lady, she deserves all great things. ❤
Loved the last few minutes where you talk about people who are with you during the wilderness season. I’ve been going through transitions myself and God has placed people in my life that care for me in a way I’ve never experienced before. The part about not even indicating anything and people showing up for you in ways you didn’t know you needed it. It filled my heart with joy because that’s what I’ve been experiencing. When the giver gets poured into without requesting it and without anything being expected in return it fills the heart up. Love that you have that support. Keep the episodes coming!!!
