      Yes you can do stunts, it's a solid steel bike, but be careful you may need to upgrade the stock pedals with pedals with toe clips and straps

    Ji, I do own a Revin Fixie. Can you please share the data of Average speed & Max Speed approx for 10 KMs distance on your 16T Firefox Single Speed Gear. Nice Video & Thanks :)

    • @toptechtym
      @toptechtym  Год назад +1

      Well currently I have changed my gear ratio to front 60t Scolarian crankset and rear 18t Starlit racing freewheel you can find my speed analysis on strava, but you can see on a 30kms avg ride my average speed is near about 23 to 26 kms per hour and my max speed is about 45kms per hour on a flat road.

      @krishnansrinivasan830 Год назад

      @@toptechtym The stock crack of Revin Fixie is about 45T / 18T . & you changed it to 45T / 16T...Currently you're in 60T / 18T...May I ask Why you changed from 16T to 18T on the rear ?. The Average speed is really impressive :) Thanks for taking time to answer my question :)

      @@krishnansrinivasan830 I am really sorry, I wasn't able to see your comment 😅, currently I am working on another project of upgrading my handlebars and bar tape, which makes this an amazing must check bike. I have also seen your video and I like it very much to be honest. Now about the crankset, and freewheel, so when I upgraded my crankset to 60t I found out that the freewheel was not able to keep it up with, and Firefox freewheel was better than original one but it was not as good as my current freewheel which is all nickel racing freewheel and has a very good sound as well as performance, sadly there wasn't any 16t for the same model at the bike Shop, but I found out that 60/18 was perfect gear match for me as currently I have done 100+ kms with 30kmph average speed and I found out this was best gear ratio for me

    • @toptechtym
      @toptechtym  Год назад +1

      @@krishnansrinivasan830 Also, I would like to add that the gear ratio depends person to person, on their own capabilities. I am quite lightweight and have good strength to weight ratio so I can pull this gear easily and it's best for me, but someone lighter may prefer an even higher gear ratio. It depends on the person. As everyone has different taste and different preferences.

    Can you give me link for your stem and freewheel?

    • @toptechtym
      @toptechtym  Год назад +1

      The freewheel was from my local bike shop , so I don't think it would be available online But I will confirm you after contacting the shop person if it's available online. Here's the link for the stemwww.decathlon.in/qr/8551019/-1. But please note that you may also require the adaptors for the handlebar as it's diameter is 25.6mm it would cost you 700rs extrawww.decathlon.in/qr/8299154/-1

    • @toptechtym
      @toptechtym  Год назад +1

      If you will get a new version of the Revin Fixie it would already have a decent stem so I would prescribe to change handlebar with this as it would provide better stability and look to your bike : - www.decathlon.in/qr/8526748/-1

    Mein motorcycle Lena chah raha tha lekin Motorcycle ke purje aur maintenance Kafi Jyada Aata Hai isiliye yah road bike Ka Khyal Aaya Iske purje aur maintenance kya kharch ata hai thoda bataenge

    • @toptechtym
      @toptechtym  Год назад +1

      Well ye bohot hi achha hai ki aap motorcycle ki jagah road bike ko lene ki soch rhe hain and it is really appreciable, aur jahan tak maintenance ki baat hai aapko kuch bato ka dhyaan rakhna hoga.
      1) Cleaning spray : saaf karne ke liye basically 999 ka muc off ka aa jata hai mahine main 2-3 baar jarurat padti hai puri cleaning ke liye saal bhar se bhi zada chalta hai
      2) Chain lube : koi sa bhi le sakte ho local 30 se 50 rs ka aayega aur shop se bike ke liye 150 se 500 tak ka bhi le sakte ho but koi sa bhi chalega jab bhi bike chain ko clean kroge tab uske baad uski oiling zarur kar lena, monthly 2-3 baar hi zarurat padti hai.
      3) Adjusting / Tuning: Kabhi kabhi ho sakta hai ki saal mein ek baar wheels main ya handle main ya drivetrain main aapko kuch adjustment ya settings karni ho toh wo bhi 50 to 100 main ho jaega.
      4) Puncture issue : Jo patle tires hote hain road bikes ke, wo kaafi high pressure pe chalte hai jiski wajah se ko taar ya aisi kisi bhi shar chiz se qo puncture ho sakte hai jiski wajah se maybe, basically har 500 se 1000 kms pe puncture ho sakta hai aur ye ek common problem hai, puncture banwane main toh 50 se 60 rs hi lagenge but tube change joki 5 baar se zada puncture hone pe karana hoga is main 400 se 700 rs bhi lag sakte hain.
      5) Tires: tires aapko replace karne ki zarurat Shayad 7000 se 10000 kms ke baad hi pade, but ye dhyaan rakhe ki tires sabse mehnge padte hain jab kharaab hote hain
      Continental Gator Skins kafi achhe tires hai ye aapko 8000 se 10000 ke ek padenge joki kaafi expensive hai similarly Schwalbe ke marathons, ye tire ko jaldi puncture ho e nahin denge aur saath hi saath ride ko bhi safe bana kr rakhenge.
      App bazaar se aise bhi jakr inexpensive tires bhi dekh sakte ho, ye bhi aapko 700 to 1500 ke padenge
      Inke siwa aur koi khaas maintenance ka cost nahin hota hai, better hoga ki aap khud kuch tools rakhe aur kuch chizen khud bhi seekh jaein, isse kaafi pase bachenge plus aapka interested cycling main aur bhi deep hoga.
      Thanks for Watching this video

    Bro can we put gears on this bike ?

    • @toptechtym
      @toptechtym  Год назад

      No, you can if you try, but this bicycle has horizontal dropouts which are for track/single-speed bicycles only.
      You should put gears only on vertical dropouts, semi-horizontal dropouts.

    • @toptechtym
      @toptechtym  Год назад +1

      It is actually very lightweight and nice steel bike, if you're talking about durability it's superb, technically I've seen steel road bikes like MARIN NICASIO worth 80 thousand to 1 lakh and still realy havy and clunky, yes Revin has some caveats, but just for under 13k bike this is a steal, a really excellent value for money.
