Bro... You can have it delivered to your local convenience store and pick it up ANYTIME! You can also tell them to just leave it at the door and they'll take a picture of it to show you where and when they left it. Relax bro and ask some questions.
Idk if there’s some confusion on Amazon on Japan but at this point why not just buy a futon or something like this from in-store? Also you’re a month in Japan? I’m assuming you haven’t slept on the floor for that while time.. right 🥲? Wow, I been here only like 10 days, it’s been fun but so much to adjust to 😭especially since I’m traveling through Tokyo-Kyoto-Osaka.
I had a share house so a lot of the housing amenities and day to day stuff I needed was cool. Then I moved after a month and that’s when my classes started. I slept on the floor for a week, but now I have a bed! I usually do use Reddit for a lot of things, but when it came to Amazon, I assumed it worked the same in the US and didn’t question it. It was just a noob move on my behalf but nowadays I just have it set to not having to hand deliver to me anyone and just leave it at my door.
You should ask this in Japan travel tips subreddit, they might give some good insights
