    You are a legend for putting this video on youtube for ordinary people like me to learn how to fix a common fault from the manufacturer. Normally, I would have gone to buy a new one but your video has restored faith in humanity. Thank you.

    So I've only used this pressure washer one time. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP The one time I used it, it worked great. I recently had new siding installed but kept the old gutters and small areas surrounding my house that weren't replaced so they looked horrible and dirty because of the new siding. I needed to get it cleaned asap. When I used the pressure washer, man it just melted all the dirt and grime that was on those areas of my house. I used that krud kutter soap and it was over after that. Easy to assemble, feels durable, very simple to use. Also, I purchased a used one to save money and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I want to get more use out of it so I think I'll be washing the cars and update this comment as time goes on.

    Just got my Kärcher out to clean the terrace and low and behold exactly the same problem, water flowing every where. Luckily it's under a year old and I live in Stuttgart about a 10mins drive from the Kärcher head office so it'll be going back for make over very soon. Great video as I'm originally from Leeds and I did notice a sticker on the Kärcher saying what out for frost! Oh well.

    • @TheYorkshireMix
      @TheYorkshireMix  Год назад

      Yeah its a very common problem with them as most people keep them in a shed or garage without heating so in the winter any water left in the machine just freezers up and pops the hard plastic pipe inside

    Hi, thanks for this video, it helped me enormously. I thought I had the same problem but it turned out to be the o-ring seal on the end of the high pressure elbow that you replaced. I had a spare Karcher o-ring BUT the faulty one was much thinner than the o-rings you can buy in the repair kits. It did actually fit BUT then I couldn't force the other piece onto it. I had to stretch a smaller o-ring on to the end of the elbow and then it worked a treat.

    If tha's not got t'tx15, a small flat 'ed 'll werk. Also, you can just bypass all the gubbins for the reel and connect the hose directly to the cylinder head.

    Right..ive fixed the original leak on the outlet elbow...its now got another one which seems to be from the small plastic elbow under the pump?? Took it off cant see any cracks.

    • @TheYorkshireMix
      @TheYorkshireMix  Год назад

      The crack might not be visible. Best thing to do is keep it open so you can still see all the internals and connect it to the water and turn it on. You will instantly see what bit it's leaking from 👍

  • @TheGodpharma

    Do you think it was frost damage? Same thing seems to have happened to mine after the cold snap over winter, despite it being in the shed.

    • @TheYorkshireMix
      @TheYorkshireMix  Год назад +1

      Yeah I think its leftover water in the system that freezers over winter and cracks the pipe inside. Seems like a lot of people have had the same problem after the freezing weather we had👍

    • @TheGodpharma
      @TheGodpharma Год назад

      @@TheYorkshireMix it’s poor design frankly. The water inlet is at the bottom, so if you’ve disconnected the hose you’d expect it to drain by itself. I’ll know better next winter.

    • @TheYorkshireMix
      @TheYorkshireMix  Год назад

      Its quite a common problem. I believe it's a result of the leftover water inside freezing in winter and busting the internal tube. From now on I will always turn off the water supply and run the machine to get all the water out of it before turning it off and putting it away. Hopefully you will be able to easily fix it👍
