Working of fuel injector pump of diesel engine and speed control of diesel engine

I’ve spent the last week reading an explanation to this pump over and over again trying to get my head around it. I’m not great at learning from a page I need to see things in action. Found a few videos but none explain it better than this. Thank you Amit!

u r explaining helix type not jerk type sir. Jerk type has a valve on the top which injects the fuel on pre-set pressure compared to Helix has valves on the sides, which is what u have explained. But it was very brilliant ☺️🙂😊

I Would like that you tell me if there is a jerk pump Ithout that hole I mean it will not discharge the fuel from that hole while discharge valve closed
