I always thought it would be outrageously expensive in Japan. Sure, flights would be over $1k USD, but once you're there, food and lodging and transpo is very reasonable! I love these kinds of videos because they show what is within reason for a regular tourist.
Honestly, I've wanted to visit Japan ever since I was a kid. If time and money weren't an issue, I would probably just go to Japan and travel all over the country to see all the sights.
Seeing Asakusa again brings back some good memories. I managed to get a week there just two months before the pandemic hit and it was really just a good place to be in. I didn't know such a hotel existed and might have splurged a bit more for it if I did though MyCube was a fairly nice capsule hotel too. I was honestly surprised to see how popular strawberries were and it was my first time trying out melon bread and just enjoying the weather in the side gardens where some older folks were chatting. Thanks for the video giving me more ideas to look into and hope that Japan does open up soon to solo tourists.
@@its_time_to_travel I did, it was freshly baked and a good way to start the day before I visited the main temple and made an offering! 😄 And hopefully soon the restrictions do lift
Japan is so beautiful and tidy! There’s like an innocence amongst your high technology, I mean that in the highest regards because it looks so safe! America sadly doesn’t feel as safe everywhere or as tidy. There are places of great beauty and untainted destinations but it requires community working together to maintain that. In the videos of Japan and stories from my Japanese family I know they miss Japan for these reasons and I see why. I just love the Japanese culture! Blessings- Tamlin
0:15 , I have watched other vlogs about Asakusa and I always see this but you are the only one who actually shared some history facts about the place 🥺🤧 Thank you so much for sharing/explaining facts... I love it 🥰😇 Nakamise-dori Street looks so lively and awesome 🤩 I would love to visit the place in the future and try the food there 🤩🤩 The hotel was awesome! Perfect place as well for Manga lovers like me 🤣

Everything is clean, affordable, within walking distance of public transportation-it’s incredible! Japan is really doing something right, I wish things were similar here in North America. Thank you for showing!
That hotel looks so cool! I’d love to se Asakusa it looks quite fun, a city full of entertainment :) love seeing the Japanese food! That restaurant food looked so delicious.. makes me want to try it so bad! 😍
I've always wanted to visit Asakusa and now I especially want to go and stay at that hotel while I'm there! Also this video was uploaded on my birthday :D
I love watching ure videos everytime u upload a new one. I always appreciate your effort giving us info., about things to do in Asakusa and the hotel is a budget friendly for travelers. I'll wait for your nxt video. See yah!
Very nice temple and very fashionable hotel, indeed. The street food in Asakusa reminds me of my own country's street food (though not as unique as Japanese street food.) Still, I miss my country's street food. And the idea of cooking your own meal in that restaurant "Ponchan" is nice when you know how to cook. Me, I can't cook lol
omfg, I can't believe how cheap japanese travelling is, if I have to compare it to Germany! I trvelled to Bremen and stayed there 4 days in a small pension: basically a bed, a table and stool and a frigdge in the room with a shared bathroom. No amenities. No breakfast. I even had to ask for a towel because that's not standard here... I paid 35€/night. And that was the cheapest option save for sleeping with 7 other people in a shared bedroom for 30€/night. I'm so jealous!
Me & my 2 brothers has something in common, we like Japan scenery. My youngest brother really want to go to Asakusa, especially the temple & he like Japanese food. My younger brother like anime & manga. All of us never try お好み焼き before, I don't know if Malaysia has お好み焼き屋...
Wow, the food look so good! The dinner is the one you cooked yourself right? It looked like a staff cooked for you, good job! Not fair watching your video make me hungry! Anyways thanks for the video, take care!
"卍" is called a manji mark, which has a Buddhist meaning in Japan and is often used in historical temples and shrines⛩ Hakenkreuz is a right-facing swastika, while the manzi mark is left-facing, a different symbol👀 Thank you for watching!!☺️✨

For that hotel price, it's REALLY clean and safe! In America a hotel for less than 100USD will usually be really gross. This is nice.
Yeah, the nicer American hotels here are mostly the corporate chain ones like the Hilton brand
@@ms.pirate and those usually cost like $2-300 a night😭
