The small towns and countryside are equally beautiful. An island like that in the states would be over run by commercial endeavors. What a treat to see such an area thorough your eyes. Thanks so much for your hard work to actually bring us along.
Nice place to stay for the evening!!! Well deserved after the tent night in the park lol! Good or your guys! Wow - the kindness of strangers again! So cool that so many people have been following and supporting your adventures! ~Karen & Shannon WOY
I can’t believe it’s been a year ago I found your you tube page. I had Covid-19’s then. Here’s it is a year later and I had knee surgery done. So I keep watching you guys loving every minute of it. Thanks so much for sharing!
I biked that route in 1986! It was so nice to see PEI again from your bikes. So much has changed. Actual bike paths now! Except for a few dirt roads, it was mostly asphalt highways back then. Thanks for posting your journey! Buen camino!
My beautiful Island home! I am following along with this video and know every place that you are going through, I live in Pennsylvania now and am just enjoying this so much because I miss my island . I can't wait until you make your way to East Point, that's really where my heart is and in my opinion the most beautiful area on the island.
You both are my inspiration every day! Awesome video!! You are so right when you say planning schedules too tightly you can miss out on some wonderful unexpected things! Thanks for taking us along!
Ladies, what a beautiful bike trail on PEI! Lovely harbors, festivals and great little cafe's. The air B&B that was so kindly offered to you by a viewer was the nicest thing! It was so cute! Some yukky muddy overgrown trail with mosquitoes, but you worked thru it. I'm so enjoying the videos you post and so glad you take the time and effort to record it for us viewers. Having done a 6-day, 400+ mile bike tour, I can appreciate the journey. We tent camped on high school lawns every night. Just a joy. Looking forward to your next video and the next leg of your journey. Take care.
If you’re still in the Saint peters area there’s an area called Greenwich and there’s a national Park there’s a trail there that you can take and it takes you on a boardwalk that goes over the water and a great view of the sand dunes and then you end up on the beach at the Atlantic Ocean
Wonderful video, thanks for taking us along! That is PEI's own Kelley Mooney onstage in Kensington. In North Rustico there is another excellent restaurant just Beyond the Blue Mussel Cafe called On The Dock that is well worth a try. Thanks for inspiring us PEIslanders to get out there more!
What a beautiful ride. Stay dry and safe wherever you are today. We’re headed back to the East Point lighthouse this morning and then around toward Charlottetown. We’ll keep an eye out for you…
Wow you are making really good time! The heat would be killing me. Ugh...I don't do well in summer. The humidity is unbearable. You 2 could be honorary Canadians now. Whe the first thing you when you get up is find the nearest Tim Horton's, complain about the humidex and mosquitos...well, you just fit right in 🤣 Mmmmm...how were those mussles? I love PEI mussles. So yummy 😋
HI KRISTY & ANNETTE 👋 GORGEOUS VIDEO WEATHER LANDSCAPE FOOTAGE COLORS VIEWS SCENERY ! CUTE LITTLE TOWNS . SOME OF THE HIKER , BIKER TRAILS LOOKED SO NICE & OTHERS LOOKED LIKE SOFT DIRT / SAND . The Bakin Donuts across the street from the Frosty Treat where you had Ice Cream would have been the sit in coffee shop you were looking for, would have been some similar old guys to the ones you met in Alberton hanging around there all morning. No way you could have known that though and looks like you still enjoyed yourselves.
I'm loving these PEI cycling videos, thank you for a very helpful intro to PEI, even for someone who is planning to do much less cycling than you two did! I'm late to this video, but thought I'd try asking this question: What is that gorgeous, very empty beach where you stopped to eat? I think it might be Brackley (I looked at a map and tried to read the sign in your video), but I'm not sure.
Have you seen any puffins?? Not sure if they are on PEI year round or not. What an amazing adventure. How many days have you been riding?? You have me loving PEI, perhaps it’s in our future…😊
What wonderful trail magic and trail angel. Love the video. Where did you get the hat for your helmets. Those hats are really cool. Blessings and safe biking adventures.
It’s a company called Da Brim. After I saw their videos in May I looked it up and they sell either a visor, or a complete brim all around the helmet. I got the visor which is great for getting the sun out of my eyes, but I might go back and get the one like these guys have
Another enjoyable vid of your travels on the island. I appreciate you showing us the map! Also love how you post in “real time”. Hate skeeters 🦟- they’ve been bad here in the PNW this summer. Looks like you’ve run into some really awesome people!
I am mesmerized by the blue, blue sky! Loving going on this trip with you, thanks!!

“Annette of Green Gables”…😅Love you both!! Thanks for bringing us along💕👍🏼
I was cycling today on a rail trail and found myself humming some of the music you play on your videos while riding. 😂

So many cute places. How awesome you got the airbnb. So kind and great timing with the heat. Its all been so beautiful.

Awesome video loving the little towns along the way. Enjoy your travels. 👍🏻❤️🤩
A beautiful ride ladies. I love PEI!
Enjoying your adventures taking it all in a day at a time😊

The trail keeps providing...so much unexpected hospitality from our Canadian neighbors to the north.
What a treat you take us with. 🥰🥰🥰 Love the little beach side towns. 👍

As an Islander, I had no idea what the "Island Walk" was until this 😂 Glad you are both enjoying your time here!
You both are my inspiration every day! Awesome video!! You are so right when you say planning schedules too tightly you can miss out on some wonderful unexpected things! Thanks for taking us along!

Such beautiful places, I’m surprised the bike trails are not busy, I would think they would be it’s so pretty there!
So fun to take this trip with you! The vibrancy of the green and blue colors is amazing. So beautiful. And I love the new music 🎵.

Looks like a great trail, but maybe better on a bike than a walk? Thanks for taking the time to share. Take care out there. 🖖👍👊😊
I think the bike for sure.
Yes, I agree -- better on a bike!
I’m really enjoying seeing this journey; so pretty! You might want to consider getting bug nets for those nasty critters. Enjoy!

I love that place. It's cute shops. And the walking trails that have wild raspberries at one point! The beach is very pretty too.

We really enjoyed our time on PEI.
Word on the street is, "The girls are on their way, roll out the Red Carpet"!! Yes indeed!! Loved it when you got ice cream 😁.
Thanks 🥰!!
Love your videos! We have a spot in Canoe Cove you could stay if you haven’t already passed by there.
Thank you. We might pass there in a couple of days. Will let you know.
What a beautiful ride. Stay dry and safe wherever you are today. We’re headed back to the East Point lighthouse this morning and then around toward Charlottetown. We’ll keep an eye out for you…
We just made it to Charlottetown

Prince Edward Island is a very special place, not only in Canada, but on earth!
What an amazing place!!
If you are ever traveling to Vermont and want a place to stay in the Burlington VT, we live right by the bike path. I can see it from our front door.
Thank you so much.
Perfect choice.......live it up!
Loved it!

Darn, we missed that chance.

We're doing 50 mile days+/- so riding days about 8.5. No puffins although that would be cool
I don't think you will find puffins on PEI
@@lorainemacdonald517 I must be thinking of somewhere els then 😊 they are cute those puffins
I think maybe Newfoundland might have puffins. Newfoundland is not far from here PEI
There seem to be extreme heat warnings in the Maritimes. Stay hydrated, take lots of breaks in the shade, stay safe!
How awesome!👍😎🇨🇦🚴♂️🚴♀️🏕🌊
Amazing place. Put me in your panniers next time you go. Iiiiiiiiiiiii-Iike-it.
They're already pretty heavy . . .

We would absolutely love to. How can we get in touch with you?
Blue skies and little to no wind!
We love PEI and have biked that same route many times. Love it☀️Where did you guys get your helmets/ helmet covers? Great video😊
Beautiful
Be sure to indulge in PEI lobster rolls and clam chowder!!

Does anyone know what happened to Lynn? I must have missed an episode last year if they talked about her.
Lynn is working in Yellowstone this summer. She couldn't make this trip but she'll probably get back together for future excursions.
Showers?
Bug spray. Head nets. Full length arm and leg clothing.

Our long wet spring probably made a larger crop than normal, but still not as bad as the swarms they have in the east
