Excellent job showcasing my backyard. The big plants in the river are Indian Rhubarb and they get beautiful stalks with pink flowers. The plants with heart-shaped variegated leaves is wild ginger.

That trail along the river was so beautiful. Incredible work as your mileage is remarkable for the first 100 miles. Appreciate all the hard work to take us along your journey from your Oregon Buddy !
I saw two bears the 60 miles before etna. Tons of downed trees the 20 miles before etna. And much more snow on etna summit than I prefer. I only brought one micro spike! 🙄UL
Thanks for taking us on another adventure video with you! Also, I've used a dry bag to do laundry in too for the agitation. You add the hot water, soap, and clothes and shake it up! It works pretty well and sometimes you can fun with it and roll it around and stuff.
I was told about your videos by a driver on the Appalachian Trail! We’d walked 40 miles in 4 days and I felt proud. Your mileage makes it look small in comparison but who’s comparing? Go ladies! You’re inspiring.

I went through there in mid-June 2019 when I was sixty-five and there was so much snow at those higher elevations! I was scared as hell in some parts. Had my microspikes and everything. But is sure was beautiful. Can't wait 'till you go through the Trinity Alps.
You ladies are amazing and funny too.Doing a hike like this you have to keep a sense of humor going I am sure.A couple places where the trail had like big dropoffs was crazy.Glad to see Pesky again but she should know not to underestimate the "Wander Women".

I love the northern CA section of the PCT cuz it reminds me a lot of the OR and WA trails where I grew up. Dunsmuir is a great little town to zero. Hedge creek falls is almost in town. Very cool to walk under. Very hiker friendly town. I’ve stayed there several times in my way up and back from So Cal to visit family in WA. There was a hire friendly stop that has laundry near burney falls but not in the state park. It’s a decent campground with a decent general store. It’s odd that they don’t have a laundromat but it’s a tiny town. But bathtub works. Lol. Better than a creek. 😂

There was one there but it closed several years ago. The town barely tops 2000 people so it was never very busy. It is a wonderful place to visit though.
I often wash my clothes in a shower or like you did in the bathtub when I'm on trail or travelling! Works rather well! 😁 You girls are doing great! Enjoy your zeroes! ATB Kaat

Hi guys ... loving the recap. I'm in my tent somewhere above Dunsmuir...nice little rain and hearing trains. , but I'm headed to castella tomorrow for a resupply box and will probably stay at the state park. Assuming you met ninja and sandman! They sped by in a flash.. Agreed how wonderfully planned the trail is and far surpasses any expectation in so many ways. Yes hot then cold! Those first few weeks were good training for what is about to come. Finding those trail legs. Met up with some northbounders today who started in Campo. That was fun. It's so exhilarating. I'm slower at elevation ... my zero will be in Etna. Totally nackered!
