I learn more every time I watch these!!!!! One of the best of the best surf analysis on You Tube and the Internet period, hands down!!!!! Thxxxxxxxxxxxxx OMBE!!!!!!!! Happy surfing 🏄 from Virginia Beach 🌴, Virginia!!!!!!!
The tip about taking the leading arm in front of the direction of the turn, that you guys said in one of the last videos, helped me straight away when i started thinking about it. i could feel my rail way more penetrating the wave
Hi guys PLEASE can you guys do a coaches eye on and old surfer from a his part in Taylor steels movie you can find it on you tube it is called "Timmy curran in the show" I would love a break down of his stylish yet progressive technique
I've seen almost all of your videos. Clayton uses a lot of punch analogys regarding the back hand. I've noticed a lot of similarities between Capoeira and surfing. Capoeira is a brazilian martial art. The fighters use a lot of arm movements and torso rotations to maximize leg movements. Capoeira is very popular in Brazil, Portugal and Angola. Maybe it's one of the secrets of this Brazilian new wave of surfers.
Discovered this series yesterday after rewatching your popup video that looks at JJF taking off in that slab, ended up watching a bunch of them of my favourite surfers and even finding new appreciation for some others! My one suggestion/request would have to be Medina, he's got such an adaptive allround style, or maybe do a comparison between Medina and Florence, both absolute peak surfers but almost polar opposite backgrounds if you compare surfing pipe to surfing brazil
