    I bought the 800 to replace my 690 for hog barn washing out here in SD.
    The 690 had over 3k hours before it blew and Its turned all the way up for max power
    The 800 is way smoother and I put a 12.5 udor pump on mine and it's a beast.
    You have a really nice set up! My barns push 25gpm for water so I don't need a tank but this is my goal set up.
    I was just wondering what hoses you are using? Mine get pretty beat up from dragging over the rails and what not and keep blowing(I run a completely open system)
    I found some 2 wire poly coated but it's 200 for 50ft. And my barns are about 200 ft on each side.
    Just wondering what you were using and seeing if there are other options. Thanks for the video!

      Yes sir been seeing a lot of washers switch from the 690's to 800's. As for the hoses we run are any double braided rated between 4000 and 5000 PSI. 100' is usually what we get, look into Dultmier Sales they have good products for pressure washers and their prices are wholesale. Thank you for watching bud we appreciate it!

    • @tywinter7622
      @tywinter7622 Год назад +1

      Much appreciated man!
      I usually get my 6000psi hoses locally and my parts from dultmeier but the supply is lacking here
      Found some at Pittsburgh so I'm going to try those.
      I use to wash lots all the time then I found out about hog barns and stuck with that! Nasty work of course but glad I found it!
      If you are ever in SD and want some content on some hog barns lmk lol
      Thanks again! Much appreciated!

      You may need to get a gauge and check your spike pressure when you let off the gun. If the unloaded isn’t set correctly your spike pressure may be a lot higher than you think. This will cause hoses to fail faster than norma. You can Google how to properly set. Good luck bud

    You should always start and shutoff the motor at full throttle so keep that throttle lever all the way up. Just make sure it’s not under load when turning off

    • @kdaltex
      @kdaltex 7 месяцев назад

      Why? I usually start it slowly to give oil times to splash on everything and allow the pump to fully prime then run it full blast.

    Good on ya.. It looks like the igx800 is replacing the gx690.. I’ve got 8 or 9 washers with the gx690 and new orders you can get either motor for small price increase. Any trouble so far with the igx800?
