Great video, here’s my ranking: #1 Scooby-Doo! And The Goblin King - Easily the best and the most memorable movie out of these. It has that late 2010’s charm and that’s a really cool thing. It has so many iconic scenes (from which Fred’s, Daphne’s and Velma’s monster transformation being one of my favorites!) #2 Scooby-Doo! And Kiss - Rock’n Roll Mystery - I don’t think I’ve ever considered this as a Halloween movie tbh. It lacks a lot of Halloween aspects and it doesn’t feel like your typical Halloween set movie. But if it counts then it’s my 2nd favorite because I really enjoy it. Famous band - check, great songs - check, great animation - check. Amazing but not as iconic as The Goblin King #3 Happy Halloween Scooby-Doo! - Not a bad movie by any means, but doesn’t feel like a Scooby-Doo movie you’d expect, If you know what I mean. I like all the references to all the past Scooby-Doo media but that isn’t enough to save it completely. #4 Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo? - Sorry but I’m just not a fan of this movie, I personally still don’t like SD and Guess Who’s art style and making a movie with it for me is unacceptable. Although, I admire the creator’s boldness to express Velma’s sexuality since people have been really confusing about it since forever. Also, Daphne saying that she feels like she needs to lead the gang is also a very amazing part of the movie since we haven’t seen her in the ‘leader role’ since The New Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo Show and The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries. Happy Halloween and Happy Scoobtober to everyone who’s reading my comment
Great video! I don’t fully agree with your rankings, but I found your reasoning fascinating. My personal rankings for the best Halloween Scooby-Doo films are as follows: Note: This is not so much a ranking of my favorites as it is a ranking of what I consider to be best based on a somewhat unbiassed view. 1. Trick or Treat, Scooby-Doo! - This movie is just straight up fun and silly. It foams with Scooby-Doo vibes and definitely delivers on the Halloween side. 2. Scooby-Doo! And Kiss, Rock and Roll Mystery - I personally consider this the best of the 4 films, but it lacks significantly in the Halloween aspects. I also don’t really like Kiss, but the humor and dramatic feel of the film makes up for my lack of interest in Kiss. 3. Scooby-Doo! And the Goblin King - This film, like you said, feels like a long and good episode of What’s New, Scooby-Doo!, but it doesn’t really do anything special compared to the other What’s New era films. Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! - I personally love this film, but I cannot dismiss the flaws. I enjoy the humor, but the pacing is off and the collaborations with Scarecrow, Elvira, and Bill Nye, while appreciated, are not given the screen time or importance that would have been preferred. The greatest flaw, however, is that this movie does not work well as a part of the trilogy it is a part of. The entire trilogy is full of wasted potential and, as Scoobytopia put it, studio meddling. Essentially, Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! is a solid film if one ignores it is a sequel. This goes for the entire trilogy as well. The fact is, unfortunately, Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo! is a poor sequel and the sequel aspect is a major part of the film, thus I sadly place it in last.
I have to agree with you about goblin king, compared to other what’s new movies, it’s probably my least favourite. I’d say chill out is my favourite as I believe it was on tv the most lol
I really hate the new direction of Scooby Doo. Well since Mindy Cohn retired. I dislike Kate Miccuchi as Velma. Hopefully they have a new direction soon.
For the Happy Halloween movie i also want to add that the director and writer was Maxwell Atoms the creator of the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and it seems he reused the idea of the pumpkins coming alive from one of Billy and Mandy's own Halloween specials.
Happy Halloween is so overrated. And the mistery makes no sense, since each pumpkin allegedly was a normal pumpkin with a drone inside for the purpose of flying, but 1) They emote 2) They walk and move their "arms" around and even use them to drive. 3) They're smashed several times and no mechanical parts are seen.
I’m sad scoobtober is over 🥲but there’s still time to squeeze in a couple of movies before midnight > < !! Happy Halloween everybody 🎃💜👻🧡🍬🖤🍭🔮🔎🐾✨!! Edit: wait I just noticed at 18:18, is that Scooby wearing a oogie boogie costume? Lol I’ve only just noticed
Thanks for having me!!

Great opinion. I agree for the most part, like I said all of these are fine Scooby movies, far from the worst
Goblin King is great, i remember actually dressing up as the goblin king when i was like 8

Where my ScoobyCulprit fans at???
Happy Halloween Scooby-Doo the first Halloween Scooby-Doo movie? Scooby-Doo and the goblin King crying in the corner
For the Happy Halloween movie i also want to add that the director and writer was Maxwell Atoms the creator of the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and it seems he reused the idea of the pumpkins coming alive from one of Billy and Mandy's own Halloween specials.
Greetings and Happy Halloween.
I'm actually new to your Channel.
Rule of Thumb: If Scooby-Doo stands like a biped, as it is in Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo, the show or film is bound to stink.
always really loved the goblin king !
Scooby Doo & The Goblin King, for me felt like going back to the 80s movies, where the monsters were all real
How about a Best Halloween Episode video? I believe there are four to rank.
fred went full on rambo on the pumpkins

What do you think of Kate Micucci as Velma?
I don’t personally like her voice
@ I feel you Mindy Cohn should return as Velma she IS Velma
