Papier Mâché Beyond Halfway to Halloween with Mushrooms & Pumpkins/Basic Prep

Can you believe it? We’re already past the halfway mark until Halloween 2924. It’s time to start preparing our Papier Mâché projects for Fall events and attractions. Let’s have some fun creating pumpkins and mushrooms for our displays and props.
Retail stores have begun their Halloween sales even earlier this year. That serves as a reminder for those of us who have shops and/or events and attractions in the planning stages. There are many themes to explore and pumpkins make a great start. 🎃

Thanks, Denise ❣️ Yes. “Summer Ween” is a popular “Thing”. Most interesting how this catches on to so many people. I’m not even sure how it all began but “Disney” is popular for “Halfway to Halloween”. Though it seems that they may have been the first to start that particular trend, I’m not sure. However, these sayings have spread like wildfire as a marketing tool for retailers and RUclipsrs alike. It’s catchy. I hope that I might pick up a few new curious viewers in this experiment. I usually don’t follow trends but now is as good a time as any for me to give it a go. I think it’ll be fun therapy along the way for me, as I love the Halloween theme and the play-on-words ideas. 🎃🍄‍🟫🍁

@@rozanidesignsmasquerade7050 So, I Googled it, here is what I found. The holiday is believed to have originated from the show “Gravity Falls,” which aired a Summerween episode in 2012. Interested. So may like you said it probably drives from Disney. Keep up the good work.
