i always gave this album the side eye compared to their "Inside the Machine" LP, as i frequently listen to this album i know how in retrospect i was wrong, solid release, has a unique character and to me it stands out as a not to sleep on Drum and bass album.
I agree. It didn't hit the same as their freshman album but I think it has everything to do with the fact that Fresh produced almost all of the tracks on this sophomore release.
I can't really show their junior album much love. I think "Torpedo" is the only solid piece on that album.
But Digital Nation had nothing but bangers on it. "CRUCIFIXION" is the star of this album for me. Tune still is as nasty as ever.

Takes me back this......this was just before certain elements on the scene...went oh the hard,dark,techno sound is in vogue.....let's forget quality productions and flood the scene until even noise addicts like myself agreed with doc scott that the scene was stale......only thing is scottie put out 'vault ' by a certain ozzy kru.....pendulum!!!!....and the shit started all over again!!!....peace to all breakbeat lovers........Paul 47 Aberdeen
Hahah I'll never forget hearing vault for the first time, I was at Legends of the Dark Black, dance academy, Plymouth. This LP has really aged well in the hard tech style dnb, love the dance trance vibes. This LP is pouring out pure electricity

Difficult song to catogarize, doesn't Sound like DnB to me, a bit like some of Spor's stuff (Aztec/Ziggurat etc..) However I absolutely love it, almost like Euphoric 174 Trance.
