I just had to listen to the start of the video, for a homework, but I finished by listening to the whole thing! It's incredible how entertaining this was!! I felt so intrigued and invested in what was gonna happen!
Ad? Nothing for sale. It was a threat. Later, after sustaining their sorry butts, they gave our free enterprise to communism. What the heck was that? :(
These SUS{PENSE programs have all been restored by Radio Archives, out of Spokane Washington. They have done a magnificent job in their restoration work. The Radio Archives work (which can be found on the Internet) sounds as good as when these programs were initially aired on radio if not better depending on the reception one may have received on their radios at the time.
Thank you for not giving away the ending!! So many times I go to these episodes on RUclips just to get a basic description and I glanced down into the comments and somebody told the whole story. And I'm like, if you enjoyed it that much, why didn't you just let somebody else listen to it and enjoy it too? Or at least say... Spoiler alert... Or something Thank you again. I'm going to go listen to the show for the first time.
@@IImitateVince A little late in replying and thank you for the comment but I'd never give away the ending as it's just not fair. As u said put a warning ie spoiler alert or something of that ilk. There's nothing worse than reading the comments and some asshole has said how the story ends and that's it, ruined!!!
Though I really enjoy listening to these old radio broadcasts, most of them are really not as suspenseful as the announcer suggests. We would need the 1940s, more innocent mind. Suspenseful and scary are really over the top for modern people.
I'm listening this with my 92 yr old mom. She is back in her younger days.😍

Thanks for this information. Good work and good shows!
That was great and it had guessing to the end!! The music was eerily good!! They sure don't seem to write them like this anymore!!
Thank you for not giving away the ending!!

Just wonderful! These are so awesome
The PSA at the beginning really makes sure that there's no running away from death and taxes
I noticed the same thing...........makes the IRS a scary Government Agency which still remains the case.
Margo was always fascinating Actress especially in the Val Lewton movies in which she starred.
Make sure to pay your 1942 taxes 😂
