Toshiya is THE coolest bassist ever. So entertaining to watch live and such a great musician. I would love to see you react to Tousei live. There is one performance that outshines all others, from the Arche live. You can find it subbed.
Thank you to the wonderful person who requested this! I wanted to see this one 💚 As good as the audio and mix from the Shinsekai version is, I think this is the best version of the remake. The atmosphere here is so awesome! Normally blue is Toshiya's [bass] color 😉 Kaoru [lead guitar on the left] is purple, Die [guitar on the right] is red, Kyo is yellow and Shinya [the drummer] is pink although that one is only used for merch stuff, he mostly wears white. This was a thing they had at the beginning of the band and it still holds true even though they wear those colors less now/don't have them as constant hair colors anymore. I bet you would love Toshiyas early looks ^^
I would like to see you guys go back into their catalog. Maybe listen to Yokan or find the live they did for the song Garden. They've always been different but, it amazes me when I go back and listen to what they used to produce compared to now.
Hello, can you react to " D'espairsRay / 05. Infection [liquidize live - eng sub] " please please please :D Its my second favorite japonese group with dir en grey.
I have loved Diru since the gauze days but I just can't get into their music post like 2012. It's really avant garde for me. It sucks because I know these are some of the best metal musicians in the world but all I hear is mass of random sounds. My ears must not be cultured enough for what they are going for. I hear Kyos god like vocals and I know it's Diru buT it just feels like something is missing they had before. Either way I love seeing people fan over them. Im glad people still love their music they were a massive part of my defining music tastes growing up.
They never changed. They just became more on point and skilled. And what I mean on point, I mean on point with what they're trying to express. To make it easier for you to understand, their music always strictly revolves around the lyric. They're storytellers expressing the emotion by sound. And their concept is always "pain" and usually emotional pain. You gotta understand what type of pain the lyric is showing and what it means. And you also gotta understand that pain by heart. That's how you truly and deeply understand Dir en grey's song. To understand it that deep, you gotta experience a very deep type of pain.
@@gjrloiouyfchicfhhudrgky3470 Honestly in all the years I've listened to them I've never looked into the lyrics. I go by visual and the emotions in Kyos voice to get what he expresses and that has always been beautiful to me. What really got me into the instrumental side of Diru tho was the incredibly catchy riffs and choruses of the older eras. I don't get ear worms like I did from their first album till the rerelease of Zan. Uroboros Live At Nippon for me is Diru at their absolute peak of lyrics, music, and visuals. From there I've understood it less and less with every release but I still enjoy them. Even if i dont get what they are going for.
Behind a vacant image live by them !!!
Which one tho?
@@dubioussightz1538 ARCHE at Budokan Day 1 is my favorite. The energy in that one is off the sharts
@@passio-735 is that the one where they start headbang all bad ass and he lets out that epic scream at the end?!
@@dubioussightz1538 That's the one 😁
Oh I love this song so much ❤️

React to "The Final" that comes from when Dir en Grey was "Visual kei" and was one of the most liked song
It's always a good choice. DIREN GREY's flavor comes out well.

He sings with free lyrics. It's very interesting.
He does different things at the next day's live.
That's not a guitar, he (toshiya, the bassist) did that thingy with the stand and BASS
I love your Diru reactions! 😎
You guys need to listen to the album versions of these and not only that. The older album versions. Sound is soo much more on those

Please reaction to the video of dir en grey a obscure from the vulgar album,
please.
There are so many better choices for songs to listen to for beginner Diru fans, I think. Shock value is overrated.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm no thanks love diru but i just do not relate to these people
