@skirts365 You can say that going to war for your country makes you more heroic, more of a man or whatever. But it can't make someone into a 6"4, 240lb behemoth with an iron jaw and power like a mac truck unless they already had the genetics. Let's be real here: no professional fighter ever stood and traded with George Foreman and won, even when he was an old man in his 2nd career. Anyone who tried, even Ron Lyle, got knocked the fuck out, because no matter how bad they were, he was stronger, hit harder and could take more. The only way to beat a guy like that was to outsmart him, to use skill, strategy and fast feet to outmaneouvre and outsmart him, take him to a decision or wear him down. And guys with that level of skill would be in the ring, not the military.
NO NO NO, THAT'S NOT WHAT HAPPENED, HE SWUNG AT THE LION, THE LION RAN FROM THE ROOM AND INTO THE DEN WHERE HE CALLED DON KING, AND TOLD KING HE WANTED TO GO BACK TO AFRICA, SO KING CALLED ALI, AND ALI CALLED FOREMAN AND THAT'S HOW THE RUBBLE IN THE JUNGLE WAS SET UP
It‘s so fascinating how normal and clear he is able to talk after such a heavy career in boxing. Normally at this age they all have slurred speech and signs of CTE. He really is a phenomenon in many ways. Probably the single most impressive career in boxing history.
NO WILD PREDATOR MAKES A GOOD PET, I SHOULD HAVE SAID NO WILD ANIMAL MAKES A GOOD PET, A ROBIN WOULD DIE, TRYING TO MAKE HIM A PET, OR EVEN A WILD RABBIT DON'T LIVE LONG AS A PET
George Foreman a giant of boxing! One of the best/greatest heavyweight champions, in my opinion. What a man! After all these years, here he is, with is wits and wealth intact, happy healthy adult children, pursuing his own interests outside of his sport. He is an incredible success story! In future years I think people will look back and say George Foreman was the biggest winner of all!
Thats when you measure a man if he attacks a billy badass lion or stands back and lets it attack him this is how foreman deals with life and seems to work for him what a awesome guy.
reading a lot of these comments amazes me...you guys have no clue who Foreman is...strongest fighter ever and by far the hardest puncher in boxing next to Earnie Shavers
Alpha Male Because when he got older and fatter he lost his speed and more fights went the distance plus you can't knock everyone out regardless of power.
The lion was probably shocked that a human actually swung at him, and it was the same human who had been feeding him. There was a news report of a woman scaring off a wolf who attacked her son because she kept screaming and making herself bigger and that intimidated the wolf. Animals often use loud threat displays to scare each other to avoid confrontaions.
@@cygnusprime6728 It was probably more the lion responding to his assertion of dominance. If he grew up with the lion from a cub it would see him as a part of his/her pride, would respect him and would be unlikely to harm him. If it was less familiar with his brother it wouldn't have that problem with him. I'm speculating, I'd like to hear the real story. It seems like people who keep wild animals as pets usually end up fine, it's someone they know who gets attacked by it. It's usually bonded to the owner. eg. there was a couple who kept a chimp as a pet and it attacked some person who came to visit. They can also get jealous of people interacting with their owner(s).

I'm glad for him. I always like listening to his interviews.

The lion George had weighed around 340lbs at the time, it was an average size male lion. When George began his comeback he weighed 325lbs, he’s not joking when he said he went pound for pound with it he’s always been a big guy😂
My best friend was a Siberian husky/timber wolf mix. I saved her (technically stolen) from a 3 foot chain with no food or shelter after walking home from school for a month to give her my school lunch. Found out real quick that if not for the chain, she could support herself as long as there was wildlife around. The cost of dogfood was almost non-existent. She treed something once (think it was a beaver) and sat under the tree for 3 weeks not eating or drinking anything until the animal came down. I was getting worried that she was going to die from starving, and then I came home from school and she was not under the tree.only a torn up and unidentifiable carcass. Almost 18 years I had her until old age took her. Best damn friend I'll ever have. I could talk for days about the experiences I had with her next to me. Like how she protected my uncle's pet pig.. until it got fat 😂😂😂.
