I read that when Niccolo seen the priest they sent to tend to him on his deathbed apparently he had a very negative and strange response, he cast the priest away and became highly agitated and distressed by the presence of the holy man.
It encourage the believe that he had indeed sold his soul to the devil or was in alinement with evil forces, so this influenced the public’s speculations of his league with dark forces and subjected Niccolo to much greater pubic scrutiny.
But it could have very well been a compilation of his fear to die and possibly the effects of syphilis which cause mental deterioration after long term effects from contraction of the disease.
Many went totally mad and mentally unstable due to syphilis and the effects after having it for lengthy periods caused the deterioration of the brain.
So either way his reaction would only cause a sense of conformation to the dark rumours of his pact with evil.
I have read/studied about a few highly talented artists both musical and visual artists who where deemed to have been In league with the devil or evil because they caused people to be curious about their odd behaviour and their great talent which allowed them to live lives of excess and to have much greater public and financial success and then those in their community which caused pubic hostility and disregard for them which only promoted the rumours of their pact with dark forces.
Many great artists where discredited and labeled as conspiring with occult forces or evil but mainly it was because the artists had ability’s that gave them greater social status then the fellow members of their community and this caused great contempt and jealousy so in attempts to damn the artists and ruin their great success they where deemed as being part of evil forces.
That’s my take on it anyway.
Thanks for this video very interesting and educational, I enjoy videos like this and this one was especially well produced.
    Good job and thanks again!!

The fact that as a child, he was so good that he surpassed his own teachers proves he did not sell his soul in my opinion. He had the talent from birth, he was a prodigy. His dark side, his vices, are not very surprising considering that people like him tend to struggle with things like that. How many geniuses and/or prodigies have also been very troubled and suffered from mental health issues and addiction?? I think that because they are so gifted and intelligent, they see things differently than others, including the darker parts of life, they feel more deeply and so they constantly struggle with it.

Most of the UK drill rappers come from lower class areas of London where a lot of crime happens. Fortunately, I don't live in those places, but hey. He admitted this. Although I believe just because someone sold their souls to Satan doesn't mean they can't repent. And be forgiven. But most who do this believe they can not be forgiven. So sadly they don't try. Nothing on this planet is worth selling your soul. Things on earth are temporary and then it is gone. Then comes eternity.
