This is really amazing, especially the trees! I would be very interested in a close up slow motion fly-through at the end to see the entire scene in detail.. don't know if it's possible of course. Very inspiring neverthless, keep up the awesome work!

Your version of mspaint is so much better than the one I grew up with. ;) Great job! This is really nice. Do you render directly in MagicVoxel? Might make for an interesting experience to export to Blender or Unity? Still voxels but more degrees of rotation and different render experience.
Thank you! Yes, I rendered directly in Magicavoxel (75 png frames). I also tried other voxel models in Blender for making animation, which was a really fun experience. I will try it again soon.
It would be nice if rockstars put 4000 ppl on a game with this type of graphics, lock the voxels in a certeain standardised size and make all the assats available in a public database after some time.

Hello, I like your voxel work. I want to ask a question. Me and my friend, we are thinking of designing an isometric action game and need your suggestion on how to approach the art. Our focus is making detailed voxel characters and environments. So, should I make characters in a 256 X 256 X 256 grid and for let's say trees or environments (a light tower monument), use 3-4 cubes of 256 size each to maintain the height ratio between the character and the world? Btw, we will be building this project in unity. I don't want to scale assets in UNITY because then I will lose the voxel harmony as some voxels will appear wider or longer and it would become weird to look at.

- I'm using Magicavoxel 0.9.9.7.1 win64. You will get it after subscribing to Ephtracy's Patreon page.
- There are two working areas in Magicavoxel: Model/object view (capping at 256 256 256 voxels); + and World view: you can work on many objects and can make a large scene here. (Pressing Tab to switch these two views)

does the end scene with the lighting all render in magicvoxel or do you have to export it to another program? love your work, it inspired me!
There are 75 animation frames in PNG, all rendered in Magicavoxel. I imported them into Adobe Premiere as an image sequence and then exported the final video.

I believe I used the old version of MC in this video, which have 32 default layers. The latest version only have 16 default layers.
